Calling the 24-hr response number on a Saturday morning, I was switched to a call centre in Toronto. After listening to an advertisement, I was led through a menu of options. When I chose "repairs", I was asked to enter my phone number "to serve me better". I did not have to wait long to be answered, but once the agent picked up, I was again asked for my phone number and address -- and postal code! She didn't even know what time it was in Sasaktoon. The agent gave me a a window of 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for service, and service was promised within 5 hours. (It was 10:45) I called back at 1:05 asking for confirmation that the service man in Saskatoon had received the order. This took some time, but I was informed that he should be there in an hour. He actually called me just before 3:00, telling me he would be there in an hour. And he was.. "Alex" was great, he fixed the furnace very quickly and was very professional. I would have been much happier if I could have communicated with their service desk directly rather than going through a remote call centre, and not have to listen to ads before being able to talk so someone.

I had a furnace inspection done today and it was done professionally and thoroughly. The technician, Alex, was incredible. He explained what he was doing as well as why. He quickly and patiently answered all of my questions. He is welcome back to my home for any future service calls.

As usual, Reliance Gregg's does not disappoint. I had Seth come over to my home to sort out an electrical issue. As would be expected, he was professional, punctual, competent and got the job done fast. I would not hesitate recommending him or other professionals from Reliance Gregg's.

However, before the technicians can come to your home, they have to be booked through a central booking office in Ontario. This is where things go rapidly South. If one is looking for benchmarking incompetence, the booking office would be the gold standard. This office is working very hard driving away existing customers- the only reason I stayed was because of the stellar staff with Reliance Gregg's( in Saskatoon). A humble request to the management at the booking office- fix your problems before it sinks you. I think the staff at the booking office need better training with recorded calls being reviewed by managers and feedback provided to staff. More importantly, a booking office serving Western Canada might provide better service to those living here. In summary, I am happy to recommend Reliance Gregg's without reservation- provided you can book their technicians, after dealing with the centralised booking office who seem hell bent on providing unpleasant service because of ignorance or incompetence.

I had Alex here to to annual maintenance and he noted a part that might fail, and it did a few days later...he was here within a few hours and replaced the part no charge. I am grateful for his efficiency, and the knowledge he imparted to help me learn how to problem solve and care for my furnace, thank you alex!

One thing I don’t like is that you have to have a Facebook or google account to leave a review. I don’t have either and don’t want to have them.
It makes me angry that I can’t just leave a review, And that I have to create a useless account which I have no intentions of ever using again.

I just had regular maintenance done on my furnace. Phillip was great. He was really clear when explaining how the different parts of our furnace worked together and what kinds of potential issues we could run into in the future.

I was in dire need of a furnace and my hot water tank had just failed. After calling around I found that Greggs had the better deal all around for a rental. Since the water heater had failed and flooded the basement I needed Speedy results and they were here the next day after calling the rest of the work because I added the furnace and air conditioning was finished within the week. I was impressed, and now free services every calendar year, cleanings and the people that work for the company are all bonuses.
