We had been considering replacing our roof this summer when it started to leak. We called several roofing companies for a quote. Ryan came the same day got up on the roof and took pictures of the roof. Even though at first we were not willing to guarantee that we would be using Impact to replace our roof he still offered to put up a tarp to prevent further to damage to the inside of our home. Once we had several quotes we decided to go with Impact because of Ryan's professionalism and the competitive quote.

We are both engineers and have very little patience for roofers who give us B.S. answers to our questions or who cannot explain, in technical terms why certain "additions" are necessary. Ryan was very honest, articulate and capable of explaining, very clearly what was and was not needed. Extra work we requested did not come with alarming price-tags, and we appreciated that a day and a half worth of work was not going to cost us in the five-figure range (which is ridiculous given that materials are between $1000-$1500).
Most of the more established, well rated roofing companies will charge twice or three times the rate because they subcontract their work.

I had an old leaking skylight and was not sure exactly what the problem was. I was referred to Impact by a close friend. Ryan showed up and assessed the problem. Apparently i had a "self flashing skylight" as opposed to "a curb mounted skylight" which i was told was a much better style of skylights. Ryan drew up a diagram and showed me the difference between the 2 which helped me understand why the leak happened. The price quoted was fair and the final product looks great. I got the curb mounted skylight as was recommended and I have not had any issues since.

I was given Ryan's name by a contractor who I trust. The last time I had a roofer at my home there was a huge problem so I was nervous about getting another roofer in. I was pleasantly surprised by Ryan and the way he conducted himself. I had water coming out of a vent in my bathroom ceiling a couple of weeks ago. I contacted Ryan and he arrived when he was supposed to, got up into my attic and discovered the problem that needed to be fixed before the spring thaw. He took photos of the problem to show me and then went onto the roof to work on the vent despite the cold weather. He took more pictures of the work he did outside. I found that my actually seeing the problem was an excellent tool and made me feel confident that the work that had to be done was necessary. Ryan was extremely polite and knowledgeable. I am confident that the issue has now been fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ryan.

Had a leak coming into my bathroom from the roof. My brother had recently gotten his roof done, so I asked for their roofers number. I called up Ryan and he came to my house to inspect the roof the next day. He told me the previous roofers had done a poor installation. He took pictures to show me what he believed the problems were and gave me a price to reroof my whole house and a price for a small localized repair. I went with reroofing the whole house, as he took pictures of the state of the rest of my roof and all the shingles were curled up. He gave me a reasonable price and stuck to it(no extra mystery fees), his team was very punctual, Ryan even took pictures of the work he did for me to show my home insurance, and provided me with a no hassle guarantee on his work. I got Ryan's number from his brother who had mentioned he did roofs. I had him over to give me an estimate for my roof which looked pretty bad after the last wind storm we had. He gave me a reasonable quote and installed certaineed shingles which are a great product and look fantastic.
