Elite Exteriors No Longer In Business

Update. Still no reply from Steve to reinstall flashing that blew off my gable last winter. Because they only installed one downspout on the entire roof the rain runs off the porch, over the gutter, into the alley and floods my neighbours basement.
Also realized space between gutter and fascia on roof so rain falls between there and drips into alley that way too.
Only recourse is new estimates on repairing his work than Small Claims Court to recoup costs.

I original gave a 10/10 as I was happy with the service I was provided. Job completed February 2014. A month later a piece of siding fell off. I called Steve to have everything repaired and call after call I was apologized to but nothing was ever rectified. I was told several times he was working on having the repairs completed, nothing. A couple more months go by, more pieces have fallen. Summer arrives, I notice in a couple places water is leaking, as per video: http://youtu.be/u1vkXH5w1yc . Keep calling, keep getting the same apologies but no action taken. September 2014, I get a hold of him, calls me back leaves a voice mail saying he will be unable to complete the job, however he has contractor friends he will get a hold of to come complete. I return his call a few times throughout the month, leave messages, they went unanswered. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend.

What a smooth talker please don't be fooled. He invented excuses from traffic issues to supplier issues to down right firing his "office staff" to condone being late to start and leaving during the job for months on end.The trouble with Steve is he thinks he is smarter then his poor unsuspecting customers and their families. Talks about warranties hell if you can get him to show up to do deficiencies then count your lucky stars. Had over 10,000 worth of work quoted paid him in full as he had to make "payroll" just before Christmas and quote on quote he would be back next week to do the deficiencies and trust me there are LOTS. Of course he hasn't showed up after numerous missed appointments. It has been over 9 months and no response from him. Don't let this guy and his company cause you the grief it has caused myself and my family, if only I had been lucky enough to know this before I made the mistake of hiring him. Buyer beware :(

Not a bad price for the job however I expect to have everything done and done right. Shingles look good & vents installed as discussed but only one side of dormer has flashing (?!) and only one downspout was installed for the entire roof. A 2nd one down the back was discussed during estimate but they decided against during installation.
Promised to cover old clay downspout pipe in driveway, never did.
Highest piece of flashing fell off gable over the winter while I was away. (glad it didn't take anyone's head off) 2 months ago requested they put it back up. It is still not done and Steve no longer returns my calls. Guarantee their work? Lip service.

I had the misfortune of meeting Steve from Elite Exteriors,
He did my roof ,,,it cost me 1800$ to fix it. He took a 5000$ deposit for a window purchase & install in April 2014,,,, I have yet to receive my windows & he refuses to refund my money,,,,oh sorry he'll refund my money in installments,,,,even though I paid him in full, OOhhh & don't look for him to return phone calls ,,,,,unless he wants more money!!!!
