Pretty cool stuff here! I was surprised to see so much unique designs here. My wife and I picked out a nice crystal chandelier to put over the dining table and trying to decide on another one for the stairwell too. Though their showroom is not a true retail storefront (I think they are mainly online business), everything is displayed clearly and the staff is very helpful. When I bought my light they helped to open the box and let me inspect it patiently. If my wife ever makes up her mind, then i should be back for another light!

As the name implies, the lights are mainly modern/contemporary, which is a nice change because I had heck of a time finding something in HD, rona, or lowes. Though much of the products look very "designer", the prices are not outrageous like I was expecting. I had a question on the height of the one the lights and (almost surprisingly, being an online store) someone answered the phone! I was happy to get my question answered immediately. They said they have a showroom in toronto but I'm about 2hrs out and I wasn't going to drive all the way just to see a light. I took a chance, ordered online, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and speed of delivery (literally it took 40 hrs from the time I clicked to the parcel arriving at my doorstep) Thank you

We were on a quest to replace an old tacky chandelier in our dining room and we went through the usual places: IKEA, Home Depot, Rona etc. and were quite disappointed. Most of the lights looked too generic and cheap which didn't fit the bill. We did venture into some boutiques but they were severely overpriced. Our friend told us to check out Modernlights and we fell in love! The photos on the site really don't do the products justice and the prices are very reasonable. We ended up going to their "showroom" (it's VERY cozy but it works) and spent probably too long gazing at the selection. We decided on an orb light as we saw something similar on our trip down south. People, if you're looking for something different and reasonable go check these guys out!

A close colleague told me about this company with a very unique collection of lights at non-wallet-busting prices. The website is beautifuI and immediately i picked out a stunning chandelier that fit my dining area perfectly! I was a little hesitant with them being an online store but i learned they have a commercial store where you can actually see the lights in person. I'm a touchy feely person so it was a must to pay them a visit before I put my hard-earned moolah (cash) down. The showroom was basic and nothing fancy but well laid-out and comfortable. Let's just say it wasn't a "roll-out-the-red-carpet because you're the queen" sort of place. So I immediately fell in love with the chandelier I had chosen..... and another two lights which looked so much better in person! Alas, I had just changed many of my lights just a year ago so it wouldn't be a wise financial decision to repeat the process so soon. Anyhoo after coming home and pondering it with my partner for 3 days, we bit (or clicked!) the bullet and ordered online. Thankfully they had a xmas sale with additional discount and free shipping! Two days later the brown UPS van pulled up to my door and the rest is history :)
