We needed some help replacing a smart thermostat with a conventional Honeywell thermostat. We called Climax Heating and Air Conditioning. Sam came the same day and quickly fixed the problem and got our air conditioner running again which was a real blessing as the weather was very hot and humid. The very next day our water heater stopped working leaving us without hot water. I called Sam and with his advice over the phone I was able to fix the problem and get the water heater working saving us the cost of another service call. It was so refreshing to find a company and a technician who has the know-how, charges reasonable fees and cares about their customers providing real service. Thank you Sam!

My a/c fan stopped working and called Climax. Sam gave me some tips over the phone to try out and resolve the issue. Very helpful and honest. It turned out to be a capacitor issue which needed replacement and he got it fixed in less than 24hrs! Really happy with their service and highly recommend.

Sam was a pleasure to deal with. He was responsive and transparent; didn’t try to oversell me but instead just recommended what was necessary. No pressure tactics at all.

And his installation technicians, what can I say. Saiid (sp?, sorry if I misspelled) and his partner were awesome. Clean, polite and professional.

I would like to thank Sam and the install crew for a job well done. Sam came out to provide an estimate right away. With a couple of hot days in May, these businesses get busy. Sam was able to give me next-day install which was more than I hoped for. The installers, Ali and Mister F, were top-notch. You may get different installers but trust Sam!

Leading up to the May long weekend, our aged hot water tank had two escalating and worsening leaks - the T&P valve near the top and the drain valve near the bottom. I called Sam on the long weekend and he attended on the Tuesday within the promised time window and completed both repairs. He also advised/quoted on a conventional tank replacement solution, a tankless replacement solution and a furnace replacement (also an aged device). I was pleased with his professionalism and work quality.

After our long-standing provider could not come on a weekend, despite a relative emergency, I found Climax Heating & Air Conditioning through Homestars. Sam came within a few hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem (a slow freon leak), solved it, ensured it was working properly before he left, and gave ya some longer term advice. Such a nice guy. Very impressed - Thank You!!

Our water heater stopped working a couple of days ago. We first called the company we have dealt with the last 20 years - I still haven't heard back from them.

So I turned to HomeStars which to date has never steered me wrong.

I called just after 8 am and Sam answered the phone right away. Once I told him our problem he said he would be by the same day by 2 pm. He asked me to text him a photo of our water heater so he could be prepared.

He arrived within the time he stated, was very polite and efficient. He wore a mask and gloves in this new age of social distancing. He quickly identified the problem and had the parts with him to do the repair right away without another service call.
