Home moving
We recently hired Lets Get Moving to move a 2 bedroom condo.
The company was asked to pack and unpack all items due to my Mom being 94 years of age.
After agreeing to a move date, No one was sent from the company to assess the move and as a result the 3 men sent on moving day had not been informed they were required to pack all items( this should have been completed days prior to the move)
As a result the move ended up requiring two days to complete and substantially higher cost than originally planned for.
The crew, when finally arriving the next day informed us they did not have time to unpack the boxes and they were hired to do.
When we unpacked the boxes we found four very expensive porcelain figurines broken due to poor packing.
When informed. Lets Get Moving said we had not paid for their insurance and would only offer $50 to replace the broken items worth between $750-1000.
This from a company hired to pack and unpack and had not done the job professionally.
I would not recommend this company as they are very disorganized
( as mentioned to us by the movers) and do not back their obligations to ensure a complete and safe job.
We were charged $4000 for a job that should have been in the 2-3 thousand range at most and they have not paid for the broken items to date.
