Chimney was in bad shape near the top. They replaced the deteriorating bricks/ cap and repointed the bricks in good shape. Even came with a warranty.

I cannot say enough about how fantastic E&R Schwarz Masonry was to deal with.
Throughout the entire process, we were treated respectfully and were provided options regarding the scope of the project. We assumed our chimney required replacement (which was much costlier) and we were informed why it wasn't required. We received timely follow up regarding scheduling and a call to advise of why the work was delayed.
The day the work was done, they took great care of the surrounding area, ensuring our gas meter was covered and the concrete around the pool was protected.
In addition to the work that we had agreed upon, the day the primary work was being completed they also notified us of another strip of shingles that, unknown to us, had been blown off. They also quoted us to fix it that day. It wasn't within the scope of work, but an added bonus that they told us and offered to address it as well.
The staff are true professionals who obviously care about their work and take pride in a job well done. We would absolutely use them for future work, if required and would recommend them to others also.

Thanks again for the great work both of you did on our chimney.  Your professionalism, communication and hard work are rare qualities in today's fast-moving world.  To have someone treat our home as you did was so appreciated.

I am exceptionally pleased with the work done by E & R Schwartz Masonry. My chimney was in bad shape as Richard pointed out to me. On our initial first meeting, I was explained in detail what had to be done to bring my chimney up to code.
Richard and his team arrived right on time, and I was so impressed with their professional, courteous and honest integrity.
On further inspection of the chimney, Richard pointed out exactly what had happened to the chimney and showed me pictures of the inside before he proceeded with the work. The chimney had to be rebuilt from the roof up. After the completion, the crew cleaned up impeccably.
I was very surprised as to what a close match the brickwork was to the house brick. My house is 60 years old, but they did an excellent job of matching. Thank you E & R Schwartz for the superb experience dealing with you. I highly recommend this company for any mason army work. They are perfectionists.. My chimney is smiling once again.

Richard was extremely thorough in explaining to me how he planned to rebuild my 60yr old chimney. His price was competitive for the top quality he offers and for that reason I decided to hire him. On the work day, he and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. They protected my aging shingles and all vulnerable areas around their work area with sheets and tarps etc. They were done by 2pm and our chimney looks great!
