Before you sign the agreement everything seems very satisfactory after sales service is terrible! Do not recommended at all

I came across them through Builder for doing wiring for my 4 security cameras. After closing I checked that only 3 camera wiring is there, 4th is missing. No response from company after repeated requests and reminders. There is some rough in department which has to act. Not sure if it exists or not because there is no contact number or email. Prayer seems to be the only way. Not sure where to go Temple, Church or Mosque, who may have some idea where is rough in department

Horrible communication with the staff members, does what they want without consulting the homeowners. Would not recommend ever.

No professional service at all. How an internet cable is run in the house and the amount paid. Then no jack was installed on the point and then asked for additional money.

I had no choice but to have the central vacuum system, internet, cable television and land telephone line installed on a newly built home. None of the work was done properly. The internet and cable television lines were not installed properly, jammed between joist, there was no telephone line connection; had to have Rogers Communications Inc. complete the work. A senior staff member came to inspect the work and promised to compensate for the poor installation and lack of install, and never followed through with the promise. Afterwards I discovered that the central vacuum piping had not been glued together properly and had to have that done properly at my own expense. I discovered the poor workmanship in the ceiling of the unfinished basement. It’s impossible to know how poorly the work was done behind the walls which have already been drywalled. The central vacuum system no longer works in only three years. The parts are under warranty for ten years. I notified the manufacturer and Built In Technologies and they have not returned my call. I am supposed to receive a new motor according to the manufacturer. When I went to the office to discuss placement of the phone lines, internet and cable television, the representative was only interested in up selling or selling me additional services and installs. I wasn’t interested and the representative treated me as though I was wasting her time. In the end, I am glad I didn’t order any other services or products with them as they failed to do a proper install for the products I was offered from the builder. I would not trust this company to do any work in my house. I have notified the builder, TARION and Rogers Communications Inc. of the poor workmanship. It’s entirely inexcusable and an indication of a company who is only interested in making profit on lack of work and poor workmanship, in my opinion. I would only recommend that prospective customers find an alternate company to do this work or have it inspected by a home inspector and make the company return immediately to finish the job properly.

My feeling was good dealing with Built in Technology team.
Builder for our new home has specified Built in Technology for our Wiring and Home Security systems. Mary Spadafina was our consultant. She was very flexible scheduling the appointments and stretching beyond her scheduled time during our meetings. She went extra mile covering all the minute details giving suggestions wherever I had complications in deciding over my exact requirements. She is very professional, knowledgeable and customer oriented, she even helped me to save money wherever she could. It is a great pleasure to dealing with her and we look forward moving into our new home.

We were referred to Built In Technology by our builder for our wiring and alarm services. As first-time buyers, we had very little experience with pre-construction details, but we were quickly put at ease with Mary's professional yet approachable demeanor. Mary walked us through all our options, clearly explaining the technical specifics in easy-to-understand terms. It is obvious that she is very knowledgeable and experienced in this field, and we trusted her recommendations. Equally important was her easy-going and humourous personality -- by the end of the appointment, we felt like we'd known her for a long time.
All in all, we were very happy with our experience at Built In, mainly due to Mary. She went above and beyond, even staying 30 minutes past closing time to patiently answer all our questions.

The Sales rep promises the world, wont mention her name. With a great showroom and friendly staff until it came time to do proper work. if you don't like companies taking shortcuts, don't use this one. they couldn't even pre wire telephone lines properly.....we had to pay to get these services fixed again. Only 1 of the 6 jobs pre paid for were done properly. Stay Away

We had bought a new home through the builder who put us onto built-in technologies for our hardware and home security services. We had the pleasure to deal with Mary from built in technologies. Mary was great in explaining the coverages in detail and explaining the cost for everything. We chose to upgrade the wiring as well as take the alarm services through grand alarms. Mary was great with following up with us for the services as well as explaining in depth the different types of coverage. She went above and beyond as she worked within our budget. She explained what was important to have. Thank You Mary for helping us as this was our first time buying a home brand new through a builder.
