Sundeck solutions was excellent to deal with on our project. All start and completion dates we met, the quality of work was higher than we were hoping for and I would definitely contact Marc again for any other deck and or railing jobs in the future

Marc and his team where a breath of fresh air in a complicated insurance claim we had to make after wind damage to our home. Not only were they polite to deal with, respectful of our time but they did what they said they were going to. We met Marc and his team at the Reno Show two years ago. We took some time to consider our needs and interviewed several contractors.
We felt comfortable with Marc and trusted he could deliver what we wanted. He provided a fixed price contract with a detailed scope.

Construction started on time and the team was a pleasure to work with. The team was very skilled and from the onset I knew we would get a great deck.

Would like to also acknowledge Nolan, who led the on site work and is a true craftsman and a pleasure to work with.

As in any project there a couple of issues. To be fair, one issue was due to drawings we supplied. Discussed the issues with Marc and he committed to remedy at no additional cost.

Overall the project took a little longer than planned, but came in on the quoted cost.

We love the new deck and would gladly recommend Marc and Sundeck.

We had an awful experience with Marc and Sundeck Solutions Inc. A true test of character is when things don't turn out right. Simple one piece railing spanning post to post not installed square, looks bad. Never communicated to us that it would install that way and it never occurred to us that a professional would measure, plan, and execute an install in this manner. We met to voice our concerns about the inadequate fit and finish and got a very fast turnaround from being told face to face it was important and they wanted to make it right to an email saying they wouldn't be doing anything further and here is your invoice. We would not recommend and wish we didn't get referred to this company.

This is the second time we used Sundeck Solutions and once again they provided exemplary workmanship and customer service. They go out of their way to ensure you are completely satisfied. We will always recommend their services to anyone looking for this type of work.

We hired Marc from Sundeck Solutions to design and build a new deck for us as the existing builder installed one was too small for us.

Marc showed us his amazing portfolio and we instantly knew which look we wanted.

He then drew up 3D plans for us so we could visualize what the deck would look like on our place. Marc even ensured the smallest details were checked so we could get the largest deck possible with the far edge following the fence line and maximizing the build within the code required set backs. He was very knowledgeable about the construction and we knew we were in good hands.

The work started when they said they would and the guys worked efficiently and were very clean and respectful throughout the project.

The glass and railing was delayed but that made sense as they build everything before ordering the railing to ensure a perfect fit and no waste.

The deck is beautiful and we can't wait for years of outdoor living enjoyment! Thanks Marc, Andrew, Nolan and team!!

Our house and deck in Hanson Ranch were built in 2000 and has a SW exposure which gets very hot in the summer. The gray vinyl decking had a few previous repairs and more were needed so time to replace. We checked out the home show and Sundeck Solutions display stood out from the others. They spent the time to explain the different products they offered as well as the process involved to replace the existing material. We had two other companies quote us for the job. We went to each of their offices to look at the product. They were all close on price and Sundeck Solution was in the middle of the pack. We looked at pictures from previous jobs and were most comfortable with Marc, his company and the product line he was installing. Everything promised was delivered and the deck and landings look fabulous. There was only a small section of plywood (by the door) that had to be replaced and was covered in the quote. Three of the stair risers had vinyl on them but two were missed on the installation. There was nothing of this mentioned in the quote but Marc was good to his word as we had discussed it. He had a fellow out a few days later and it was installed. What a beautiful product (68 Driftwood Plank) and job on the installation. I would not hesitate to recommend Marc and his company to others.

Sundeck Solutions recently completed a repair and recovering of my upstairs balcony. The balcony is quite large as it services three bedrooms. The repair involved removing the old vinyl cover and the supporting plywood which had rotted badly in many locations. Luckily the existing joists and balcony header were in reasonable condition. Although the job was probably smaller than most for Sundeck solutions it was technically critical and trickly - the balcony serves as part of the roof for a finished area of the house underneath and the existing plywood (which had to be removed) went slighly underneach the stucco finish of the house. Sundeck Solutions had to deal with the extra (which involved extra materials and labour) which had not been anticipated at the time they gave me the estimate. Nevertheless, Sundeck solutions completed the job on time and without increasing the cost they had estimated. I expected the cost to go up a bit but it did not. Sundeck Solutions completed the job smoothly and the deck looks wonderful. Their trades people were friendly, cooperative, informative and very capable and expert. I cannot think of anything that Sundeck could have done to make the job any better.
