The old vinyl had to be removed from the original deck, then supports were put in to bolster the plywood joints of the old deck and the extension. Then new vinyl was laid over the new deck and a custom railing was installed around the perimeter. Now we have a beautiful right sized deck to enjoy our summers on. Marc ensured the job would be done before our son’s wedding, and it was.

We were very impressed with the level of service from getting the initial quote to installation. This company was a pleasure to deal with. No surprises. Would recommend Sundeck Solutions anyday.

Our experience with the Sundeck Solutions team - for what turned out to be a fairly large project – was excellent from start to finish. Marc, Nolan and everyone involved showed professionalism and it was obvious early on in the scoping phase, that these folks know what they are doing. With some of the “curve-balls” and unique ideas our project threw at the Sundeck team, they showed flexibility and a “can-do” approach but at the same time, were very candid about what was realistic and aspects that would be difficult and cost prohibitive to stay within budget. The final product, which includes custom railings and accent lighting that bring out an element of WOW, has provided us with a 3-season outdoor living space that we could not be happier with.

This is our second deck build with this group at two different homes. Marc was instrumental in helping us to pick out the material to reflect the mountain environment and the house. The job was a tear down of an existing deck and a complete rebuild of a new extended deck. Nolan spearheaded the on site project and was amazing as were those that worked with him. You could not meet nicer people. The deck is pure quality and met our expectations. The workmanship and quality could not be any better. The lengthy stairs are triple reinforced , solid and are sturdier than anything I have seen. They met the budget and finished in a timely manner. I have had nothing but rave reviews on the finished product. I plan to use them again this summer and rebuild and extend another deck on our mountain home.

We had the pleasure of meeting Marc at the Calgary homeshow. Marc and his team went above and beyond to meet our needs and answered all of our questions. The project was finished on time and within budget!

Marc and his group literally took my sketches and made a decade of dreaming come true! Every time we sit under the deck or walk out of our master to sit under the stars, we are amazed. We undertook a complete exterior Reno and the deck was part of it. Marc worked with us, understanding what we wanted and he delivered beyond expectation! We were so impressed with the integrity, the workmanship, the quality of build and the respect given to us and our property, that when we began our interior renovation this year, we begged Marc to expand his business and do our interior Reno too. We really wish he would have been able to oblige! We do not hesitate to recommend Sundeck. Sundeck has done an excellent job delivering on all the agreed work from removal and disposal of existing wood railing and planks to installing the vinyl membrane, fascia and soffit, and the topless glass railings. Marc was great providing advice on materials and colours. The job was done in time according to the agreed schedule. Our new deck looks great.

Had a great experience with Marc and his Sundeck Solutions Team. They provided an excellent service throughout the process of installing new duradek, aluminum fascia and contemporary metal and glass railings on our building to update and upgrade the functionality and appearance of the 2 main decks that serves the upper 4 apartments. The frosted glass looks outstanding. Visiting their beautiful new showroom was also a helpful experience to visualize exactly what we were getting.

Great job from start to finish. Marc took care in previewing our deck project and then designed a high quality railing system. The custom rails and glass were professionally fabricated and installed.

Marc and his team at Sundeck Solutions helped build the deck of our dreams!

We wanted a space where we could host friends, dine, relax and just chill.
Marc worked with us to design a space that checked all the boxes and reworked the design multiple times to make sure it fit what we needed.

They arranged all the tradesmen including a plumber to help us install our hot-tub. Even when there was unforeseen issues with the deck blending in with our existing landscaping, they called in a landscaper and fixed the issue at no additional charge to us.

The deck was built with incredible workmanship - I was actually stunned by the materials and care and attention to detail taken by the whole team. Having a house built in the 70s means a lot of renovations and we have rarely had work done where there wasn’t something that needed to be reworked or touched up by the contractors but we had absolutely no complaints about our finished deck.

Marc and his team made sure we were satisfied with the results and followed up several times afterwards to make sure we were happy with everything. The only downside was we had such a smoky summer, we didn’t get to enjoy our beautiful new outdoor space nearly as much as we would have liked!
