Brock

We highly recommend Brock Doors and Windows. We bought 11 windows and a patio door with integrated blinds them from the Pickering location. The service and installation was excellent. We love the quality of our windows/patio door. Our home is warmer in winter and cooler in summer thanks to the energy ratings. Plus we received the Canada Greener Homes Grant rebate that they said we would.

We had a bit of an issue with the installation of a storm door which was ordered separately. The installer noticed that the lintel wasn't cut properly. They rectified it to our satisfaction although it did take a bit longer than we would have liked.

I installed Brock Windows and doors in 2017. I had several issues with the install at time of purchase (which I already wrote a review for) but the most recent was our sliding door. Since we still have warranty I called Brock to fix the lock on the sliding door. This is the second time we have had issues with the lock. The reception took my info to pass on to the repair dept but I never received a call back. I ended up looking up how to fix it on Youtube (whick worked!). Customer service at Brock is horrible I urge you to STAY AWAY!

Don't bother getting windows installed in the winter. Upon signing with their salesman on Sept 11, 2019, he promised 8-10 weeks ("8 weeks likely but they have to say 10 to be safe"). 10 weeks go by and still no communication from Brock. I emailed their customer service and after some back and forth about when my project coordinator will contact me with an install date, I receive the reply:

Hi Daniel,

You have not been assigned one yet. Once the ETA comes in you will then be assigned one who will contact you.

No accountability from Brock whatsoever. After many messages and much back and forth, I finally receive an install date of December 7th. Now, on December 6th, I am again contacted by Brock with the information that due to previous poor weather they are backed up and will have to postpone the install date to Dec 18th. I'm skeptical but will update this review on the 18th to confirm if they actually installed my windows.

Had Brock install two large Bow windows. The install team Stefan, Pavel and Jose, did a great job. They arrived on time. Put down drop cloths to protect all the floors. They removed old bow windows and installed the new ones. I was very impressed on the caulking of the new windows was A+, very neatly done. Also I thought we would have to touch up inside trim paint after install, but no nothing damaged or smudged. This showed how careful they were doing the installation. When they were done they cleaned up both inside and out. Very satisfied customer! Thank you Stefan and team for your hard work and excellent job. I would definitely recommend Brock.

Brock gave us a very competitive estimate and the salesperson did not try to rush us into a decision

We got an estimated installation date when we signed contract and a week before Brock called and confirmed installation date.

Install of new windows was great - crew were professional and courteous.
Would definitely use Brock for any future Window replacements

We had a great experience with Brock windows for our front windows in 2017. So we went with them again to replace our ground floor back windows and door in 2018. Much worse experience, unfortunately. We had ordered the windows and door in the late summer of 2018 and are still dealing with them as of March of 2019!!! The installation kept being pushed back and they were not great with communication (calling back my husband who left a number of messages). And when the windows came, one pane was broken. They said they'd replace it and weeks later, when they came to replace the broken pane, it was the wrong pane!!! Two months after that, the piece came, and due to a manufacturing defect, the window was still broken on the side and it won't stay open. Suffice it to say, we're not pleased with our experience this time around. Now I would not recommend Brock windows to others.

We had a great experience with Brock from start to finish. A very informative showroom experience which led us to book. Friends also referred Brock as they were completely happy. Will recommend!!

We have installed Brock windows triple glass and are not happy.
We have spoken to the sales person about the noise coming through the new triple glass windows.

The old windows hardly heard any noise of cars but these new triple glass windows the sound is a nuisance. We had to purchase from another company two see through barriers in two of our bedrooms upstairs as the sound was to much and we could not sleep. All the windows/doors are very noisy as the sound goes right through and into our homes. Do not know what the problem is but nothing is being done by Brock to help this situation.....
