Our washing machine (approx 5 years old) suddenly would not drain or spin. We had used Sherwood Appliance in the past but we were not happy with their service. I searched online and phoned City Appliance on homestars. We called them in the afternoon and two hours later the repair guy was at our home and fixed the washing machine in no time. When we called we gave the make and model number and they seemed to know what the problem was already. The repair guy told us it is a father and son business. We were so impressed by the same day service and quick repair. We live in Sherwood Park but have not been able to find a repair service we are happy with in the Park so we will be calling City Appliance whenever we have a service issue.

I emailed Homestars Dec 14 about our 23 year-old Maytag fridge that wasn't cooling enough. We got a call from City Appliance two hours later. He came to our house next day and found the problem in less than 5 minutes. It was the defrost timer. He replaced the timer and the fridge was working again. We are so thankful because this fridge has been so reliable and it has so many features we have enjoyed for 23 years. We'd like to keep this fridge for as long as we can. The total cost of service and timer replacement was way below what we expected. We are so happy to have found City Appliance and we certainly recommend them.

Our LG over stopped working 1 month ago. Managed to contact City Appliance. Very satisfied with the quality of the service and workmanship.

Excellent service. My wife put in the email request and was contacted within 10 minutes. An appointment was made for the next day to fit within our schedule. When the repair technician arrived he quickly analyzed the problem and made an effective repair. We will be using this company again.

City Appliance came out to my home very quickly, so I wouldn't be without my oven. It's a 30 year old oven and he still was able to get it working again, in about 1/2 an hour. Very personable and reasonably priced service. I'd use his services again!

My refrigerator wasn't getting cold. Sagu came out right away and fixed it. He was respectful of my home and did the work without delay. I would definitely call again if I have another appliance that needs repair.

I called for a repair after being unhappy with a previous service company. Sagu came right away...same day ... and as far as I can tell, did an excellent job. He was courteous and pleasant and so far seems to have done good efficient work and explained what he did. I like that he is able to fix all appliances and I don't need to look further if I unfortunately need repair service again.

Our fridge broke down and thought for sure we would have to replace it .. emailed late at night, had a response early in the morning, followed by a call. Service was quick, and very affordable. Thank you.
