Reasonably priced and prompt communication from Aaron, presumably the supervisor/owner/boss. Our cost was substantially more than their first quote ($700 initially), as we requested an Energy Management System, to prevent overloading of our aging electrical grid. Their journeyman, Sean, came and did a fantastic job. He was on time, competent, patiently responded to questions, finished it in a timely manner and cleaned up afterwards. Will be using this company again for our future electrical needs.

Aaron and his team were great to work with. Aaron was responsive, informative and pleasant. The cost was very reasonable and since they did the first job, I have called upon them for other work.

The Silverback team has very responsive and accommodating. On site they were friendly and did great work. They spent the time to review options with me and eventually got to nice clean result with some ceiling lighting along with another small job.

I had four different electrical issues at my home that needed looked after for quite a while. I had two different handymen come by and neither of them ever got back to me. (One actually took a light fixture away with him and never brought anything back) I was finally able to find some help through the HomeStars website. Aaron from Silverback Electric contacted me and offered to do the work, which he estimated to take about 2 hours, which is also his minimum fee. His fee sounded reasonable so I asked him to do it. He arrived on time and got right to work. He fixed two outlets, adjusted a track lighting connection, and then went to the store to pick up a new light fixture, and installed it. All the work was finished within two hours and the final cost including the light was very affordable. I was greatly relieved by having these issues fixed. Aaron is friendly and reliable and experienced. I recommend him to anyone needing help with electrical problems, and will use his services myself again if I need to.

Aaron and his team did an outstanding job on my renovation project, including:
- Upgraded my electrical panel to 200A
- Installed pot lights with dimmer switches throughout my home
- Fixed wiring issues in my bathroom to give better control of fan and lights
- Installed new GFCI outlets
- Updated old outlets and fixed broken / faulty outlets all over the house
- Prepared wiring for a sauna and future expansion plans
- Also installed a vent outlet for my kitchen hood fan

Aaron is the most professional and thorough Electrician I have met (after I called quite a few). I was especially happy with how he gave a free quote - he came over quickly to understand the project and offered lots of helpful advice and ideas which improved my plans, and then provided a detailed quotation for the parts of the work that were certain, and pricing on time & materials for the rest. His final work was right on the quote and there were no surprises - when something came up or needed a decision he contacted me right away.

Aaron and team were on time every day and cleaned up after themselves as well. As electricians they don't do drywall repair, so please keep in mind that you'll need another contractor for any holes that need to be repaired after.

I would not hesitate to recommend Silverback Electric - they did great work for me and I'll definitely use them again in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of engaging Aaron from Silverback Electric for services at my home. He expertly installed a range, a hood fan, and a 4-inch duct. The quality of Aarons service was exceptional.

Silverback came in to install a 240v outlet splitter, with a cable running from that to a new exterior 240v outlet, then the car charger itself. Very professional and everything looks great. They had previously come in to install a Mysa thermostat and do some outlet requiring inside and we were very happy with that work as well. Great company!

Silverback Electric did a couple of small jobs changing out a motion sensor and rewiring a few lights that were complicated in that they were wired motion sensors in the closet. A lot of companies don't like to do the small jobs and they certainly don't like complicated but sorry we don't all have BIG easy jobs. So I do appreciate that Aaron came out to do this job, he was able to fix up the wiring for the lights that had not been working too well and  now they are working perfectly. He was methodical and his work was clean.   There is a minimum 2 hour charge out which is to be expected,  so if you only have a small job I would save up till you have a few to make it cost effective,  pricing is very fair.  

Aaron and his crew had to install a 220 cable from the electrical panel on the far end of the house, through a conduit and up through the attic.

He did a great job. Very professional, courteous and experienced. We will have them again. In fact we just booked them for another job next week.

I wanted to get some undercabinet puck lights installed in my kitchen to replace the outdated halogen ones.
I spoke to Aaron of Silverback Electric who listened attentively to my request. I explained that I was getting new backsplash tiles as well and wanted to get the puck lights installed first.
Although it was during the holiday season, Aaron arranged for Sean to start the job in 3 days.
Sean showed up precisely at 9 am ready to start
He was courteous and personable.
A LED driver had already been installed by another person but it was not working. Sean quickly put his trouble shooting skills to work and fixed the issue in very short order.
All the LED puck lights were installed skillfully.
He tidied up the area where he was working without being asked to.
He did an outstanding job and with his workmanlike attitude and strong diagnostic skills, he is an asset to the company.
As well, the cost was very reasonable.
I will definitely be using Silverback Electric in the future.
