Mr. Interlock Landscape & Construction

I contacted Mr. Interlock to get a quote for repairing/replacing the steps to my front door. Amir came by and provided me with options and explained his recommendation of replacement vs repair. I had several quotes from different companies and his was overall fair. Saad and Abdi were the assigned to the project and did a great job. They worked hard and were very receptive to any questions or concerns we had. The respected the job site and my family. The finished product was great and we are happy we choose Mr. Interlock and will definitely use them in the future.
Thanks Amir, Saad and Abdi for a great experience. We can actually use my front stairs now without fear of slipping down them!

Overall experience:
- Timely responses to questions/concerns
- Open communication (we asked a lot of questions before/during/after project)
- If Amir said he would come at a certain time, he was there at that time
- Any issues/concerns during construction where addressed promptly
- No hidden costs, certain variable costs were identified and agreed upon upfront.
- I had another company doing work in the same area where the steps where located and the team was able to work around that project.
- Project start was delayed several weeks but the delays were communicated so we were able adjust.
- Team took their time and completed the work once started without gaps
- Kept work area clean (as much as possible) and cleaned up at the end of the project.

Where do I even begin! Chris, Amir and their team were truly wonderful to work with. Our project consisted of a brand new retaining wall, driveway and front steps, some of which was a bit tricky with new construction permits/allowances, snowmelt etc. These guys truly delivered. They showed up on time, every single day. They worked tirelessly and meticulously, navigating any complicated issues with professionalism and care. They also always kept us in the loop throughout the process. They'd call us outside to discuss potential style options, or give us a heads up of a decision we'd need to make. I was admittedly indecisive, changing my mind a few times along the way, and they remained patient and understanding. They were also extremely nice to our kids and to our neighbours, which says a lot about the type of people they are. The final product looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Would recommend them 100%!

We brought back Amir and his team to redo our driveway after they did an amazing job landscaping our backyard. We had received different views from different interlock companies who all told us to go and look at stone in the stoneyards ourselves. We were confused and overwhelmed with no direction. Then we called Amir at Mr Interlock and it all changed. He came to our house and was really consultative. He helped us with stones, color, layout, and when we changed the overall size he worked with us to adjust accordingly. He brought different stones to our house so we could decide over a few weeks in the natural environment of our yard, before we made a decision. He was advice-led and confident in his approach which gave us confidence in doing the right thing and in terms of his teams’ capabilities to get the job done. They showed us other work they had done which also looked great. Amir and his team are a pleasure to work with, and we love our new patio. They did an excellent job and we would highly recommend them. In fact we already have!

We hired Mr. Interlock for a front patio and Amir was very professional in providing a proper written quote unlike others we considered. Work was supposed to start in the spring but due to Covid 19 issues we requested the work be pushed back to the fall. Amir was very accommodating on this point. While in the midst of a pandemic, I found that my front steps had disintegrated to the point where they needed replacement. After calling several companies, Mr. Interlock was the only one that responded promptly and took on the project, even though it was much smaller than the work they normally do. Amir was extremely professional, from our initial consultation to the completion of the project, and very accessible to me in dealing with any questions or concerns. Saad who, along with another team member, installed my steps, did an exemplary job, with great care and attention to detail. In all my dealings with this company, I have been met with courtesy and respect. My new steps have more than met my expectations. I would not hesitate to hire this company again and to recommend their services to anyone I know.

Just had our front steps and entrance completely redone by Amir and Mr. Interlock. From the initial visit until project completion everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. Shortly after Amir visited he sent us a detailed quote with exactly what materials and labour were included, as well a likely timeline for the repair which they were able to stick to almost exactly despite it being a busy time of year. Even though our project was a smaller one, we were never meant to feel that we were somehow at the "back of the line". The team arrived promptly at 8am on the first day to begin the work and remained dedicated and professional throughout the rest of the week. They finished the project exactly as promised. We couldn't be happier with the results and would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Interlock to our friends. If we need any landscaping in the future we will definitely be giving them a call!

We made the right decision to use Mr. Interlock to extend our driveway, redo the walkway, steps and veranda at our home. Amir, Chris and his team were friendly, polite, punctual and respectful to our needs. I was always kept updated on the progress and was explained what they were doing each day. Everything was planned carefully with great attention to detail. From start to finish I was nothing but impressed, the whole construction exceeded our expectations!!
