Martin and his crew did a great job. They kept us informed at every turn. We particularly liked seeing the file notes and photos of each day's work so we could follow along with the progress. They were respectful of our home and left it better than they found it.

I have a 30 year old home that needed a fresh look and new windows. After getting estimates from a handful of companies, it came down to one other and Siding Vancouver. While Siding Vancouver was a higher cost estimate than the other company, it was how Siding Vancouver is set up (not using outside contractors, family owned) that I preferred. Plus in the end, Stefan (estimator) matched the competitor estimate so it was a no-brainer to go with Siding Vancouver.

From start to finish, Siding Vancouver was professional and efficient. They use a great internal system that tracks change orders and provides daily updates on progress. This was a great tool to have access to, especially if you are away from the job site for periods of time; you can check-in and see what’s going on! In addition, Martin (my main contact) occasionally checked-in to provide progress updates and offer suggestions on specific project areas.

The project was a total exterior siding replacement, all new windows with trim and one new exterior door. Along the way there were a handful of changes/updates that were requested by me and sometimes recommended by Martin and the crew. While the changes added to the project cost, they were handled professionally and in a timely manner and overall enhanced the look of the project. One of their guys, Russ, is a master builder. Every suggestion for change/improvement he made, I accepted. Very honest and skilled individual. Russ is a key asset to these projects!

One aspect I really enjoyed about Siding Vancouver is that they had a crew working every day. Sometimes it was two people and sometimes 10 people, but progress was always happening. We even had two days of just absolute crazy brutal rain and the guys were there. In the end, the project was finished in about three weeks.

Another aspect I really liked was working with a designer they have that digitally creates your project. I sent in photos of the project and during a one-hour phone call using an online tool, I was taken through a full design consultation. During this consult, the type of siding was chosen, colors decided, and overall design aesthetic. This was a really neat process and it gave me an exact picture of what the project outcome would be.

A third aspect I liked was the overall quality of workmanship and material. Everything is done to code and in some cases exceeding. They take the time to do the little things; caulking little corners and edges, painting/filling nail heads, using trim reveal to create depth, using cuts that avoid seams/lines in the siding for specific runs/lengths, and keeping the overall design symmetrically balanced. Some of their suggestions were so positive and thoughtfully considered (from a design standpoint) that I cannot imagine the completed project without them. Everything is just chiseled and polished; very challenging to find even the most minor of deficiencies.

If you are in need of any large or small projects, give these guys a call. You’ll get a detailed estimate and project scope that will enable you to make the right decision for your needs. I can say that Siding Vancouver is not the lowest cost option but they are definitely the highest quality option; it’s clear they care about their work and your project. The phrase “you get what you pay for” comes to mind.

When we started our search for a siding company for our renovation project (replacing aluminum siding to vinyl and making repairs to a rotting deck), we were looking for a company that was reliable, trustworthy and would provide quality results without gouging you for all you have. After thorough research we knew Siding Vancouver was the company that would meet our needs and we were not proved wrong.

As soon as the project started, we were provided with online access to their website so we could track all aspects of the project, such as scheduling plans, invoicing, updates to project changes, documents relating to the project as well as daily work logs. You felt like you were always in the loop.

The project was supervised by both Martin and Chris who were very professional, listened to our requests, gave knowledgeable feedback throughout the entire project and were always available when we had questions. They demonstrated great communication skills and provided excellent customer service from start to end. The meticulous craftsmanship with attention to detail shown by both Martin and Chris, including their entire crew resulted in an amazing finished renovation that exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt their quality of work, precision workmanship and their expertise in their trade were outstanding. We are 100% satisfied and would highly recommend anyone to consider Siding Vancouver for their renovation work.

Masako and I would like to compliment Chris and Thomas for their work in replacing the rotting post supporting our patio roof, which was done promptly and skillfully within the one day. The appearance of the finished and painted area has been much improved. Thanks to them for being careful about any damage to the patio by laying down covering. We think the job was completed efficiently and pleased that the site was cleaned up afterwards.

We were very happy with our deck. The work was done very quickly and the cleanup was followed thru. Martin follows thru with my requests We would recommend this company.

While we were having work done around the foundation of our home we were advised that there were a couple of areas where the wood siding had become rotten. One area had structural damage behind the siding. After having 3 estimates to repair this we decided to go with Siding Vancouver. Their estimate was detailed and very fairly priced. Chris was the main email contact person. thank you Chris for being so prompt in responding to my emails and answering my questions. Martin arrived at our house to assess what needed to be done and explained the process. Both Russ and Martin did a fabulous job with the repairs, replacing the damaged siding with matching Haida Skirl cedar siding.

Siding Vancouver replaced our vinyl siding with Hardie Board and replaced all the soffits and covered the fascia boards. It was a big job but they were focused on our house.
At the original visit to provide a quote we found Chris knowledgeable about how to solve the difficult bits and happy to discuss them. Stefan managed the job and Martin was involved with the deck problems. The three brothers worked well as a team and communication was excellent. They don’t use subcontractors so there was much better accountability and quality control. Their crew were polite, friendly and hardworking regardless of weather – even hail!
Their attention to detail was excellent and we had no “great - excepts” anywhere. When problems were uncovered with our deck (not old, but badly built) they not only knew what needed to happen they stepped up and fixed it. No need for a second contractor and months waiting.
They under-promised and over-delivered! We are delighted with the results. Not the cheapest option but money well spent!
