Quality First Roofing

So very impressed with Michael and Quality First Roofing. Got a quote, arranged the repair and had the repair done all in 24 hours. Not only did they cover up an extra roof vent stack as I had requested, they also put caulking where I was missing some flashing. Definitely went the extra mile! Now I know who to call if I ever need anything done with my roof! Thank you!

Michael responded quickly to our request for a quote after we noticed some damage to our drywall. He assessed the issue with our flat roof, provided photos, and gave us some options. We opted to add a layer to our existing layer and have the chimney sealed to prevent further leaks. Michael was able to get his team to our home fairly quickly, given this is a busy time of year. We were pleased with the professionalism and quality of work we received from Quality First Roofing.

Very happy with the work Michael and his crew did. Ours was a fairly small job, as the roof over the back door/mud room was in disrepair. Michael was very responsive, his prices are fair, and the quality of work is great. They removed and disposed of the rotten shingles, and installed underlay, flashing, a light tube and new shingles with a few hours. I highly recommend them.

We had considerable ponding on a small flat roof at the back of our house, so we were looking to have a slope added and the roofing material replaced. We noticed a nearby neighbour having their roof done one day, and we called the number on the side of the truck to see if they could fit us in.

While acknowledging his commitment to his current schedule of clients, Michael proposed fitting our relatively quick job in that evening, and his staff agreed to the extra work. They were very polite and professional, and worked quickly enough to have our neighbours full roof and our flat roof finished by 7:30PM. Best of all, they cleaned as they went (I've seen a number of roofing jobs that make it look like a hurricane hit the yards of the house in question and their immediate neighbours), and since it was getting pretty dark, they came back first thing in the morning to make sure they didn't miss anything. In terms of quality of work, I'm not a roofing expert, but the ponding is completely gone, and everything looks great.

I was pretty desperate as I had several broken shingles and one of them was leaking pretty badly into my house by the stairs with all the rain we had this spring. I also needed my eves on the one side tacked back up again and needed a clog to be drained. I I phoned a bunch of places, most were too busy to get to it very soon. Those that could wanted quite a hefty minimum to do the repairs I needed but would only do the shingles and nothing on the eves. My roof is super steep so I can totally understand the minimums. They wanted to replace the eves entirely which needs to be done but not this year. Michael and his crew picked up the phone at 8pm on a Wednesday night and couldn't promise to be there Friday but would if they could. Lo and behold I got the call Friday at my office (didn't need to be home did everyting over the phone) and had pictures of the finished job in my email long before I was even headed home. The friday night of the long weekend I could head up north with peace of mind for a chunk of change cheaper that I was expecting to pay. For never having physically met it was a great experience.

I got some roof repair to do and Michael came to help. He is on time, courteous, knowledgable with his stuff. He fixed several holes for me and replaced the plastic, vulnerable vents with new metal ones. He also inspected the whole roof and fixed some minor issues. My roof is steep so I couldn't follow him up there. Michael took photos for me so that I could see what's going on. Thanks a lot Michael!

We recently had our entire roof and multiple flat roofs replaced. I was dreading the chaos but Michael and his crew were so efficient and considerate. The entire job was done thoroughly and quickly with a clean up that left our house looking tidier than it was before. You can see by the pictures - the new roof is amazing!

Removed old double layer of shingles, put down Rhino Roof protective sheet, installed new BP shingles along with new vents and chimney flashing. One day in and out. Great job, good product, good price.

Fantastic workmanship, top quality shingles at a price that comes in much less than guys installing inferior material. I would highly recommend Michael and his team.
