He came by to look at the garage door and provide an estimate, we agreed to the price and he agreed to come by the next day late evening and take care of the garage door for me. We had a garage door and opener that came with our house, which we bought 30 years ago. The opener suddenly stopped working, and we were able to use the door only manually. I called this company because they had a good review on Homestars. Steve answered the phone right away, asked a couple of questions and said that a gear must have gone. However, the company that manufactured our existing opener had been out of business for years, and so new parts were not available. We agreed to buy a new opener. Steve

Because our garage is not a standard height, this required some extra adjustments to make everything fit. They cleaned up very well, and then Steve gave us a thorough explanation of how to work everything, and answered our questions patiently. I don't expect that we will need another garage door or opener ever, but I feel confident that if anything goes wrong or we have a further question, Steve will help us. After almost 20 years of use, my garage door failed to open and as such, I contacted Maple Leaf for service. Steve came the next day and assess the situation. There was 2 problems---a lift cable broke due to corrosion and the opener was noisy due to loose chain assembly. First, he repaired the cable in order to get door working manually, and then he recommended a direct replacement model.
And thus, Steve and his partner came at scheduled time to replaced the opener. It was done professionally and quickly, but they took time to explain operation and programming of the remotes. I am happy with the results as the garage door now opens smooth and quiet.

One of the springs broke on our double car garage door late on a Friday evening. Steve responded very quickly to my phone call and walked me through opening the door so we could get the cars out for the weekend.
