Caplan Custom Work

We faced a similar situation with Jason Caplan: shoddy work and overpriced quote. We too asked that material costs be re-evaluated and this was not negotiable. We were informed that renovation debris removal was our concern ! When approached Jason was rude and arrogant. A contractor that made our renovation a two week nightmare. Despite quoting a 3 week job he was finished nearly a week early. We decided to hire another contractor to continue renovations as there are many others far more reasonable and personable.

The project was a 300 sq. ft. basement to be finished. Frame, insulate and drywall 2.5 walls and drywall ceiling with a slight low bulkhead. Also included was some minor electrical, a few receptacles and a light under the stairs. Quoted price was $6000. The job was completed on time and came in under the quote. Very professional and courteous.
