Anik's Major Appliances

Order tracking shows it was delivered in the wrong province - no response when I emailed about it. When I called, the owner was very dismissive and just told me "I'll get back to you" and hung up the phone without giving me any help. Even now, he has refused to give me any more help - was forced to call my bank for a refund.

I bought a appliance from them,

No integrity and no taking any responsibility for their junk appliances
Very be careful for them

Placed order. No confirmation. Contacted them. No stock. No feedback until I chased them. Order cancelled.

First I placed the order.
Then I received nothing about the order. No confirmation. Nothing.
Then I went to your website and saw the order was there. I sent an email to your company asking what is going on with the order.
This was the response:

"Hello Rod, we are over sold and currently back ordered on TSF01PKUS.
No payment was processed and your order can be cancelled. Thanks -----
"
Nothing personal. No name. No nothing. I replied back to cancel because I don't do business with places like yours. I never received anything back saying that the order had in fact been cancelled. But I expected that based on my experience thus far.

Believe me? If not email me I will gladly show you the proof as I have the emails.

Anik's team was great, timely and fair when it came to replacing a broken cooktop in my kitchen. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase major appliances or replace old appliances in the GTA.

i originally purchased a $3000 bertazonni range. The same day i paid for it, i wanted to cancel the order. The range was still sitting in the showroom. I was never told it was not cancelable. I was not told before i paid for it that it was a final sale.
The customer service before the sale was great. After the sale it was awful. I could have easily cancelled this order at any other high end appliance retailer in toronto, where I have bought over 10 appliances for a number of rental properties I manage.
Eventually, I had to order another range (a kitchen aid) just so i could conclude the business deal.
the experience was awful.
In future, I will never go back here. I would suggest that you can buy anything being sold at this store, elsewhere. Therefore go elsewhere and you will not have to experience this problem. I have learned from this mistake.
I am again, in the market for a gas range (wolf), dishwasher (miele), washer/dryer (miele), frig (smeg) and I am shopping elsewhere. Why would i put myself in this position again.

Bought a wine fridge 3 1/2 years ago. It stopped cooling a few weeks ago. I called the store to see if they could help in any way, e.g. recommend a repairman who was competent and fair. Instead I was treated rudely and dismissively. They seemed obsessed about their liability for even recommending a repairman. There are many many other stores out there. Which I am sure would want to keep a customer happy for the next order. Anik Appliances is certainly not one of them.

The real estate developer installed Ariston washer dryer combo in my building complex and I needed a replacement after 5 years. Not every store carries the brand but was fortunate to find Aniks Appliance carrying it. Was very pleased with the discount, prompt delivery and installation. And also a very expedient emailed copy of the extended warranty. Ibrahim is a very straight forward person to deal with and I heartily recommend his service.

We got a really good deal on a new wall oven, and a fair discount on a new dishwasher as well. They were straight and easy to deal with - none of the typical upselling etc. - and I'd recommend them easily. Their selection isn't that big, so it probably pays to call and find out if they stock what you're looking for.

we needed a new washer dryer pair for our condo and we got a very good deal on AEG top of the line WD pair. Ibrahim was very pleasant to do business with and it did not take long to settle for the AEG pair, overall we had a very nice shopping experience there. we can warmly recommend Aniks Appliances to anyone needing a good deal on appliances.

Update: I revised my satisfaction rating to 3 from 0; the reason being all appliances are now installed and have been working for 2-months without a problem.

A word of caution...while Ibrahim at Anik's Appliances will provide you with some very competitive pricing make sure to check your invoice and capture everything that he promises...

My wife and I had negotiated delivery into the cost of the appliances and he failed to capture that on the invoice and hold to his word.

To add to our chagrin as our renovation project hit delays, there was a breakdown in communication that could have easily have been resolved... i.e. taking receipt of the appliances in a timely fashion and taking care of the delivery as originally negotiated.

We bought a new stove (Bertazzoni), rangehood (Bertazzoni), microwave (LG), dishwasher (Bosch on special order), fridge (LG), beverage centre (Danby), and washer & dryer (LG)... we have yet to install and we're crossing our fingers that nothing is broken/malfunctioning.

However, it escalated into a severe disagreement as he would not hold to his word. In the end we made the purchase and took delivery of the appliances... but, never again will I ever shop at Anik's Appliances again.
