It was time to replace our 15 yr old gas fireplace. I went to Fireplace Plus and they sold me a real high end fancy computerized fireplace complete with a remote. I had it for a while but when the real cold weather set in, I found that it just wasn't heating the house like the old one did. The guys are Fireplace Plus were very concerned and helpful about getting me a unit that I thought would do the heating job. In the end I went with the same make as what I had before. It works great and everything is good. They were wonderful to deal with and willing to do whatever they could for me. I did have to pay a restocking fee, but it ended up being a learning experience for us both.
