Connections Plumbing And Drain Cleaning

In early September, I changed all the plumbing at my home. Phoned this company. Agreed by phone. The guys arrived the next day. The quality of the work performed was satisfied. Prices do not bite on the pocket. Plus, they took over all the sealing of the meters, the documents and registration with KievTeploEnergo. They saved me time. I was satisfied with everything.

Nice guy very honest. Came the same day and cleaned up after removing the roots. Told my husband all about which trees cause more plumbing problems. He even gave a recommendation on when we should have our drain cleaned again.

Terry may be a nice guy, but he misses on just about everything else. He cancelled several times (I understand that life happens) but I should have realized after the fourth reschedule that this would be a gong show. He arrived late both times and without the required supplies. I'm talking about the basics. Inch and a half pipe and fittings for pex, the kind of stuff that a plumber buys in bulk and keeps extra in the truck. He left for two hours at lunch to get the supplies, then said he would have to leave early and come back another day because he forgot to pick some other stuff up to finish the job.
The sink drain in the wall was not installed properly and had to be removed to achieve the proper slope. The pex lines were only cut and not tied to the main line to be finished TBA... He continuously placed his tools on the top of a $1200 granite counter top vanity making nicks in the finish, which cannot be fixed!!! (I found this out after the lights were installed a few weeks later) He tried to leave before reconnecting the sump pump and said if water backs up in the basement to give him a call. I said he wouldn't get paid until it was reconnected and he obliged. His jackhammer work and moving over shower and toiler stack was fine, but until the bathroom is compete, I don't know if they are done correctly.

I'm sorry but the previous comments must be friends and family because nothing went right with this contractor.

I have had Terry Burak now on 3 different occasions and every time he has been prompt, professional, courteous and very knowledgeable.

So the other day we noticed some sewer smells coming from the basement. As a relatively new home owner and "Try It Yourselfer"/cheapskate, I decided to diagnose the problem myself without success. So Saturday morning we decided to call in the reinforcements.

I came across this site and saw the positive reviews for Terry's service. I gave him a call around 11:30 am, told him what was going on and asked if he had time to come out. He said he would call me back in a few minutes...and he did...on his way to our house! How's that for prompt service (and a bit of good luck I guess).

He inspected my main sewer line and found it to be plugged up with some tree roots. He got the line cleared and offered some good advice about some other things I might want to address in the future, but not in a "you gotta do this or you'll be sorry" pressure sales type of way.

When it's all said and done the entire job was about half an hour give or take and we can get on with our day.

Terry was friendly and professional. I would have no problem recommending him to friends, or calling him for my own plumbing needs in the future.

Terry was prompt, flexible with time, and just did a super job of repairing a job a "big company" had done poorly. He explained everything, and then got it done very quickly and very efficiently. Great guy!

Called Terry to come out and fix a bathtub that was leaking.
We set up a appointment within 24 hours.
Terry was very professional, and communicated well with me.
He showed up when he said he was going to and completed the task. If we have any other plumbing issues we will give Terry a call again.

My toilet was leaking into my basement with every flush. I called Terry in the morning. Terry was at my door that afternoon and got the job done. Bottom line....Terry knows his stuff and does it well! Very friendly, reassuring and professional. Will be my 'GO TO' guy for a long time.

I saw positive reviews for Terry at Connections Plumbing and Drain Cleaning so decided to call him. I called him on a Sunday afternoon after I had tried a few things on my own to clear my clogged kitchen drain. He came the next day, was very professional, explained everything as he went along and had things fixed promptly. He took the time to answer some questions I had about other plumbing in my house and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely call him again in the future when I need plumbing work done.

Read another comment that said Terry did a great job so I called him up, I broke my exterior tap twisting the pipe right off inside the basement. Thought it was going to be a real problem but he came the next day and an hour later the it was fixed and better than ever, great service.
Anyway service, quality and price means we'll be using Terry in the future and recommending his work.
