When our regular technician told us our almost-20-year-old gas fireplace couldn’t be saved, I called The Fireplace Doctor for a second opinion. Jeremy Graat was able to fix our old gas fireplace, capably identifying and explaining the issue and resolving it in one easy visit. Based on that experience, we decided to hire Jeremy to install a second gas unit in another part of our house. He performed all aspects of this job (removal of the old wood-burning unit, extension of our gas line to reach the location of the new unit, installation of the new unit) with an impressive degree of expertise and efficiency. Additionally, he always gave advance notice of his arrival times and showed up on schedule, he left our home neat and tidy after each visit, and his friendly, polite and professional demeanour made him a pleasure to deal with.
