Had Wayne back for a second time to install security cameras around my house. Wayne once again showed how particular he is with his work. Excellent job... 8 cameras installed with all wires hidden. No mess/cutting to my interior drywall. Wayne cleaned up everything after he's done for the day. And came in on The quote originally given. Very professional job. I have used homesmartz twice in the past for TV mounting and I was very pleased with Wayne on both occasions. His prices are fair and he always goes above and beyond to ensure the client is happy.

I noticed via his Facebook page that he also installs HD antennas, so I enquired about cost etc. Wayne responded quickly with his price and recommendation.

On the day of install Wayne arrive and we discussed location etc. The entire install took just over 3 hours and I was able to receive 25+ HD channels for FREE.

Not being much of a DIY'er, I was searching around for tutorials on how to mount a flat screen and conceal cables behind the wall. I'm glad I stumbled upon HomeSmartZ.

Pre-work:

When I emailed the company, Wayne responded very promptly, and was very courteous and professional, answering any questions I had. All emails after that were responded to quickly.

Job:

Wayne arrived on time and, just like his email communications, friendly and professional. He took a look at the work that needed to be done, and offered suggestions, making sure that I had the final say, as opposed to forcing opinions on me.

When the work began, Wayne was kind enough to offer free cables, as some of my existing ones were not long enough.

Where Wayne went above and beyond was when he offered (free of charge) to move my wireless modem from my basement to my living room, where I would get a better signal throughout the house. This included re-routing the wires from the basement to my living room, and still being able to eliminate any clutter.

At 8:30 pm, people usually want to get the job done and go home, but Wayne took his time, making sure the job was done right.

Post-job:

Once the job was done, Wayne tested everything to make sure everything was working right, even making sure my WiFi signal was strong throughout the house, which made a noticeable difference. He made sure that the workspace was cleaned up, and left the area cleaner than before he came :)

Price:

For the professionalism and the outstanding quality of work, the price I paid was more than reasonable and well worth it. It's so much better than what the bog box stores offer, and I can bet that the quality of work can't compare to Wayne's.

Overall:

The experience was a great one, and I would definitely recommend HomeSmartZ to my friends and family. It's independent companies like this that regain my trust, and will definitely give Wayne a call when I need another job like this done.

Wayne installed a tv antenna on the exterior of the house, mounted two TV's (one above the fireplace) and connected all of my Ethernet cables to work in every room. From the first meeting Wayne explained everything he was planning on doing. Prior to work beginning Wayne came back with an estimate fully explaining all the work he was going to do. Wayne ran all of the wires required from the basement to the TVs (including HDMI, Ethernet, and cable). He organized and labeled the mess of cables that were left by the previous homeowner. He mounted both of the TV's. He connected every room with Ethernet and set up my wifi connection so it would work flawlessly. Wayne configured and tested everything that he touched to ensure it was working at it's best. Wayne took his time with every aspect of the job and treated my house like it was his own. He even vacuumed the area after everyday of work. The finished product is amazing. I'm very happy with the quality of work. Wayne is a perfectionist to say the least.

Wayne was on time for the scheduled first appointment. The project took roughly two days in length. He is a great professional, both amicable and patient, who took the time to listen to what you needed and to offer any suggestions for improvement that you don't think of. Overall a terrific guy to work with!
The project included whole house cat6 wiring from the basement to all the rooms in the house. He explained his whole plan of cable pulling after I showed him where I wanted each cat6 wall jack. Wayne cleaned up after himself after each day and even though I work in the IT industry, he took his time to explain each step making sure I understood everything and did not leave any room to be lost in jargon.

He also helped me setting up my whole basement theatre entertainment system, offering even to help me pick up my stereo system and receiver boxes from the local a/v shop without additional cost! What a guy!!

He unboxed everything, mounted my 150" projector screen, ran in-wall wiring plus plates, helped me move vertical blinds to be better positioned, repositioned a duct conduit and vent so that it wasn't blowing up against the screen, made sure all wiring was hidden and tidy. Even help me paint various spots! (I wanted the whole theatre room blacked out). Moved all empty boxes into a storage area. Vacuumed after himself. Went ABOVE AND BEYOND your typical person. I can't say enough how much I endorse this guy. I would definitely choose him over the big boxed stores where you are just a number!!
After all the work, Wayne is even visiting a few days later to make sure everything is great and tuned/tweaked.

Contacted Wayne after finding his website and reading all of the positive reviews. I was pleasantly surprised that Wayne responded to my inquiry within 10 minutes of me sending an email on a Monday night. I wasn't expecting any sort of response until at least the next day. Wayne and I made arrangements for him to come by on the Thursday evening and Wayne committed to contacting me Thursday during the day to nail down a time. Wayne followed through and contacted me around noon Thursday and let me know he'd be over between 5 and 530. Wayne arrived right on time at 5pm sharp.

Wayne was very personable, professional and spent time explains what he would be doing and ensuring I was okay with the placement of the TV and mount. Once he had mounted the TV he also took the time to ensure the cables were hidden nicely and also showed me the proper way for crimping cable. Wayne cleaned up the work area when he finished and you would never know anyone had been here except for the masterpiece now on the wall. I was extremely impressed with his workmanship and have already made arrangements for Wayne to come back in July to mount my 70" TV in the basement. Thanks again Wayne for the great job you did. I'm loving the new set up!

From the first email conversation Wayne showed true professionalism. He wanted to know as much detail as I could provide. When he arrived he had floor mats, a vacuum and removed his shoes... this showed me he really wanted to take care while he worked. Through out the installation he asked me for input and explained why he was doing what he was doing while providing suggestions. He took extreme care while he concealed all the wiring, ensured everything was level and after he cleaned up he took additional care and cleaned off the 50" screen.

There were no hidden costs at anytime. He was upfront and honest throughout the process. I would recommend him to anyone and we are actually having him come back this week to mount our 50" 3D tv.

I am extremely happy with Wayne and HomeSmartZ. I had a large 60" TV installation; A relocation of my older 40" plasma Tv, both requiring brackets and my home theatre system needed to be reinstalled. Wayne is very thorough, meticulous, very knowledgeable, great work ethic and very prepared for any situation installing the TV. I needed the installation to be set up for easy use for some of my family that hates modern technology. Once Wayne installed all the components he spent the time to configure the system so anyone can use it with ease. Very much appreciated as everyone is very happy with the ease of use. I highly recommend Wayne for TV and home theatre installations. Don't buy the brackets as he will save you money as well.

We needed to install our electronic equipment over our fireplace which had a 20 inch deep display area which needed to be closed off so the Television could be flush with the fireplace. We were also worried about where we would place all of our electronics in this very small space. We thought we would have to hire someone to close off the display area with drywall and studs and someone different to install the Television and electronics... but then we found Wayne. Wayne saw our vision and did an amazing job creating the perfect entertainment center for our small space, he knew exactly what we were looking for. His workmanship went far beyond my expectations and he took the time to do things right. I would have to say he is a perfectionist which is exactly what you want when you hire someone to do a job in your home!! Not only did he do a perfect job, but he had many useful recommendations when it came to selecting electronic equipment in our budget that would fit in well with our room and space.
