John is a true gentleman. We originally contacted him about our large armour stone retaining well, as one of the stones appeared to be sliding out of place. John came over the next day to assess and attempt to right the stone, but ultimately didn't have the right tools on hand. He returned the next day with a larger pry bar and was able to right the stone. He refused to take any payment as it didn't take him much time.
John offered some ideas how we could make our sloped garden more accessible with stone steps in a difficult to reach location, so we opted to hire him for the job. Most landscapers refused to bid for the job when they saw how difficult it was to get materials to the back as it would be too labour intensive. John found a way to get it done and was able to do it in one day by himself.
John's workmanship is top notch, his pricing is very reasonable compared to the very few other bids we received, and he is very easy to work with.
