An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
The Weather Pro salesman Andrew was very friendly and thorough. He came back after the installation to ensure we were happy. The Weather Pro windows are a quality product. So far they are working very well. However the a couple of the plastic tabs that hold the window in the track have snapped and broken off in one year's time. Through our first winter the windows did not frost up and it is noticeable warmer sitting by them. The installer had a challenging time removing our old basement windows which were embedded in the concrete. He did not complain and got the job done very well. The team of 2 finished in 2 days and cleaned up all the debris. Finishing around the windows was done with extra wood trim and looks good. However they used quarter round trim without consulting me. I feel the look of this trim is rather outdated. I would have preferred being consulted and having the option to choose something more modern. Maybe that's all they offer. The lead installer himself was not that friendly. Maybe it was a language barrier as they are all Russian. In the end he did an excellent job which is what matters. But everyone appreciates personable service people.
We called about getting the plastic tabs repaired and the installer came back in 2 months and replaced both broken ones.
Overall, good product, great installers.
