I highly, highly recommend Kovar contracting! Jason and team were incredibly professional, responsive and efficient. Quick, delivered everything as promised and administratively very easy to work with etc. They completed two skylight replacements in the middle of winter and made it seem so easy! Very happy with everything and they made the entire process seamless. You don’t need to look elsewhere!

Furniture was removed and replaced.
Wall units covered in plastic and floors were covered with tarps.
Everyday all cleaning was completed.

Kovar (Scott and an assistant) arrived in good time on January 9th. Scott explained very clearly to me that I could have a just as satisfactory R-60 insulation with new PRO PINK blown Fiberglass insulation over a foam base as I would with all-foam insulation. Scott took time first of all to report to me on the state of my attic as he found it before installing the insulation. Also during the work he explained the different stages such as the sealing of openings in the attic floor where wires, pipes, flues etc. entered, also about the installation of baffles and batt blockers and the need to keep the soffits clear. He afterwards showed me photos of the completed seals, insulation etc., all of which was very neatly done. He also explained the other steps undertaken. Scott and his assistant were very friendly and polite, and they thoroughly cleaned up the entry area to the attic afterwards. The job was finished in a shorter time than I expected. I am very satisfied with Kovar's work. Thank you.

We had an original tube light in our 1988 built home which leaked but which is no longer available. Jason at Kovar Construction sourced a sun tunnel as they are now known. Although larger it serves our needs better by allowing in more light

This is the second time I have hired Kovar and am very pleased with their service! This time I had insulation blown into my attic! Scott showed up right on time and both his partner and Scott were very professional and went about their work with minimal disruption to my home! Upon completion, they left the place nice and tidy! This is not the first time I’ve used Kovar contracting for home renovations/repairs. I required some drywall repair and Jason from Kovar was able to schedule the work in a short timeframe. Kevin from Kovar did a great job and was also able to fit some additional work that came up during inspection. I will use Kovar again in the future.

I had a chimney removed from my house and hired Kovar Contracting to repair the house where the chimney had been. This involved repairing the side of the house and the siding as well as the gap in the roof. Kovar was a pleasure to deal with, always prompt in replying to emails, and did the work on schedule. Kevin was professional and courteous in all his dealings with me. I requested one minor adjustment to the work after it was completed and Kovar replied to my email immediately, and Keving came back to do the work that week.

Jason and the team re-did the roof quickly and well, missed a small section but came back to finish the job without a fuss. Great quality and professionalism for the price.
