I have been knowing Jhon Resendes for many years. He is very professional, punctual and knowledgeable master. He designed, install and completed my staircase on time. It was an artwork with so many details and touches. Now, my staircase is a master piece. It looks stunning!

John Resendes from Sterca installed the hardwood at my old house back in 2006, and I have had compliments from so many people that I immediately called him this year for the renovation of the new house I bought.

Sterca Stairs, as the company's name indicates, specializes in stairs, and John did an amazing job at my new house, building the circular hardwood staircase with iron pickets and very impressive wood posts. It perfectly matched the maple hardwood floors which I purchased and had him install for me. I was so impressed that I had him replace all other stairs in the house - in the basement and in the laundry room.

His workmanship is impeccable and he finished the job on schedule. His rates are also very reasonable. If you need your stairs done beautifully, definitely call him.

Rick was recommended to us by another company doing the installation of hardwood on our second floor. We replaced the carpeting on our stairs with hardwood and replaced the wood posts with wrought iron. Rick was informative and gave us his opinion on various things, guiding us through our selection process of the design of the wrought iron posts. The installers were punctual and did the installation in two days from start to finish. They took care not to damage any surrounding finishes such as the floor and walls and cleaned up at the end of each day. They did a fantastic job and you wouldn't know that it was installed many years after the house was built.

Great custom workmanship - would highly recommend John from Sterca Stairs! It took about 4 days for the job to be completed.
It is highly labour intensive -- but instead of painting the stringers white as suggested by other vendors -- he is able to make them look new and match stain on your floor and stairs!
