Bought two Groupons to have my furnaces cleaned - my home and a rental. I had used them before and was very happy. To begin with, they were 2 hours late to my house. They called and let me know they were let but I didn't rebook as I don't really have alot of options for days off. We reviewed everything prior to them starting and everything was in good condition and working. After 4 hours they came up to tell me the humidifier solenoid was broke (worked before they started!) and it would be $150 to fix. I debated given they had already taken up 6 hours of my time and agreed to $100. They fixed it and left. I wasn't overly impressed and I did feel a bit bamboozled.

Thank you for your feedback. We can definitely understand your concern but to assure you, the solenoid is an enclosed part with no ability to damage it during furnace cleaning. On flow-through humidifiers, the solenoids are the only parts that generally break and this was the case here. We do apologize for the inconveniences cause due to our team being late and the pricing for the solenoid reflects a big discount for the service.
