Kawartha Lakes Contracting

I hired Steve and the Kawartha Lakes Contracting team after I had a roof collapse from snow load this winter. I had a few contractors quote the job, but the reason I chose them was I was super impressed with Steve's knowledge, connections and ability to think outside the box. I was a bit skeptical when I read one specific review on here, but am very happy I chose to follow my instinct.
Steve was true to his word, and followed through to ensure every last little task was completed. I'm super happy, and shop looks better than it did before!

We had Steve in to fix our leaking roof. He insured us that his quick/cheap way of fixing the leak would be sufficient even though we questioned his method. After one of his workers spent about 45 minutes on our roof and we paid his fee, our roof is still leaking and Steve is not returning our request for a refund or even responding to us.

Last summer I had Kawartha Lakes Contracting replace my kitchen back-splash. As a single mom, I wanted to make sure I was working with someone that I could trust to do a good job on my limited budget. Steve was very patient in helping me understand the project and time involved and even went so far as to make tile and grout suggestions. Steve and his crew ended up doing the install while I was away at the cottage and I came home to a brand new backsplash and a perfectly clean kitchen. You would never have known that they had been there working. The pictures speak for themselves! I have a beautiful new backsplash and couldn’t be happier with the quality work.

I was given a referral to Steve Moskalyk in the spring of 2011. My house was going to be listed in a few short weeks and needed a few things done to get it up to snuff. Steve arrived at my door with clipboard in hand and a smile on his face. He gave me a few ideas as to what should be done and listened attentively as I discussed what my realtor had recommended as well. The work began a few days after our initial meeting. It took a couple of weeks, but during that time Steve was always available to discuss the work being done.
