Fortress Windows & Doors

Fortress is a great company! We had an upper leak in a ground floor patio door and decided to get 2 new doors to fix the problem. Steve was great, came to the house to have a look, saw the problem and recommended new doors as ours were quite old. The doors were in stock and the whole job was completed in one day about a week later. The 2 installers were very good, efficient, fast and extremely professional. I'm sorry, I didn't get their names. And we love the mini-blinds. I highly recommend Fortress! Steve's calm and humourous approach made us very comfortable.

Richard is simply the best, he articulates his ideas well, gets a sense of what you want ( colour, layout, window style etc ) and knows his customer --- are you more flexible and want to save money? do you want something pricier and more luxurious ? and he doesn't pick for you --- he picks up on what YOU want and delivers..

Product is sensational, timeline was met and exceeded, price was by the far the best --- and the whole time treated me and my wife like family.

Constant communication, great installation, got us exactly what we wanted at a more than fair price --- and ensured multiple times to come back and make sure we were 100% satisfied .

I had reached out to Steve because of a repair that I needed of the base of a sliding patio door. The base had rotted and I was getting water inside the house (this patio door was installed by a different company). Steve and his team were absolutely amazing. Steve was enormously helpful in working to identify potential water ingress coming through our windows. He recommeded starting with a conservative approach and made a few subsequent suggestions for escalation if first attempt was unsuccessful. Steve was able to do the work on the spot. I'm hopeful the quick fix will solve our problem, if not, will immediately reach back out for his help on next steps. Absolute pleasure to work with this group :)

FORTRESS is top-notch! What a breath of fresh air when it comes to quality of work and customer service. From our first meeting in October 2021 until our installation date of February 2022, our sales rep, Rich was honest, helpful and very amiable...every step of the way. Rich was honest in telling us the costs and dates for installation. He kept us up to date. Another company quoted twice the FORTRESS price for our new door! I asked Rich about it, and he explained that many companies use the doors to make their big profit. Even though prices for our windows and door had increased by about 20%, FORTRESS kept to the original contract and did not even suggest at trying to recoup some of their losses. The installation crew of Alex and Edward were outstanding. The 3 windows and door were installed in one day, from start to finish and clean up. One of the windows was particularly challenging and Alex had to reframe. His work was great! To ensure that the trim around all the windows was the same as the original, Alex salvaged the trim from the door replacement and custom trimmed the "difficult" window...his idea, not mine! When Rich and I were settling up, I mentioned that the mechanism that decelerates the storm door from slamming shut, had come off during the installation process. Rich went to his truck, picked up some self-tapping screws and put the mechanism back on the storm door...all I did was watch. That's the customer service that you don't often see these days! If you need windows or doors or anything else that FORTRESS provides, I highly recommend FORTRESS...and I'm old-school....you earn respect you don't just get it.

Fortress Windows just completed installing 2 kitchen windows for me. I am so pleased with this company from the first contact with Steve Mercer who went above & beyond for me to assist in getting the screen on my patio door repaired to the installation today by Alex & Edward who did a fabulous job. Each of these gentlemen were very professional, knowledgeable, polite and easy to deal with. The windows look amazing and Alex & Edward did an expert job and cleaned everything up perfectly afterward. I would absolutely use this company again and would recommend them to anyone. We hired Fortress Windows & Doors to replace our patio and front doors. Steve and his team were wonderful, and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were extremely knowledgeable, looked after every detail, and helped us with things we did not think to look out, or ask, for. They also made the whole process transparent, easy and were flexible if to our schedules. Their products are excellent quality and beautiful. We are so happy with our new doors!

Excellent service: on time, friendly, knowledgeable, clean. Windows are exceptional quality/affordable price. I used another company for the first 4 windows and the product was good, but I was not happy with the service or cost. I hired Fortress to replace 10 windows in November 2021. I was so happy with every aspect, after install I ordered the remaining windows replacement for March 2022. I will definitely use them again and recommend to friends and co-workers.

I felt that my needs were taken into account, and I was very satisfied with the end product.
