Fortress Windows & Doors

I had a broken window that needed replacing. I couldn't decide between replacing just the window or the the window units in the room.

Called a few places and got a number of quotes for both options. Some didn't call back or only discussed it over the phone. Steve from Fortress wanted to come by my house have a look at the window and discuss my options. From the beginning there was no pressure and he answered all my questions. At one point I wanted to replace all the window units in the room (builder grade) but later switched back to just replacing the window pane. Steve was very understanding and helpful. The window pane was ordered and he came to install it. Fortress was cheaper than everyone else, but without a compromise in quality of window. We will be calling him when it is time to replace the windows in our house.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Fortress Windows. Steve answered and returned my calls immediately and provided excellent service throughout the process. We were only going to do the front door and window but after we saw how amazing it looked and how easy the installation was we decided to do the upstairs windows as well. Steve was a very cooperative sales person. He came immediately and gave me suggestions. It was very easy as we text pictures options and suggestions.
They were installed with care and ease. Steve even came out and worked to get the job done in one day with little interruptions to the tenant.

I requested a quote for a back door from several companies and Steve came the next day on a Saturday to suggest ideas for the door. After settling on the door, Dave installed it within the week. Fortress windows did a great job for us. This is the third time we have used them and I think they have now replaced every window in the whole house.

Our entry door was In rough shape and needed to be replaced. I was looking for a contractor that would take care of the whole thing (removal of old door, supply of the new, fixing around the edges, installation of lock etc). After checking out his reviews in homestars I called Steve from Fortress. He was great: came out to review the job, left us some catalogs to review, provided detailed comparative quotes when advised of the options we wanted to consider. We settled down on a very reasonable price (all included) and he deliver the door ahead of schedule with high quality and no surprises. A pleasure to work with!

We had a small front window replaced. When the installers arrived, you couldn't have asked for nicer guys.
The window quality was far better than expected. The inside trim framing was absolutely perfect.
The outside aluminum work was again, better than expected. The installer made the right decision as to size and look. They definitely had an eye for this. The work site was impeccable when they left. I highly recommend the Fortress team.
