It was warm right after installation so, it felt like spring in my house with the better ventilation of my new windows and the clarity of the new glass. Then, when it got cold, the house was warm and toasty from the improved insulation. So I'm really happy with the 15 windows and secured sliding patio door that Fortress installed for me this March 2021.
Fortress wasn't the cheapest alternative but it wasn't the priciest either. But dealing with them was great as Steve patiently answered all my questions and made some valuable suggestions. Then, when it came time to install, all I had to do was clear enough space in front of each window for them to work and they took care of the rest. By electing the brick to brick option, Ashot and his installation crew produced a fit and finish that was miles ahead of my builder's original efforts: just beautiful.
Bottom line is that Fortress is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend their product to anyone considering an improvement to their windows or doors.
