Avalon Landscaping took over from a contractor who was unable to schedule time to complete our rebooked project. Ed met promptly with me. He presented a very detailed contract, itemizing everything so I knew what to expect cost wise. I am so in love with my outdoors again. The patio stone looks amazing. He identified a gradient problem and fixed it! He made sensible recommendations within my budget. He also increased my feeling of safety walking outdoors down appropriately sized steps. He fixed up my front entrance to match the garden and installed 2 of his low voltage custom lights. Gorgeous.

Absolutely amazing crew. Respectful and professional. Ed and his team were there for any questions and help regarding any problems. Job was done very efficiently and clean they never left a mess and was always there for any help!

May 2018: still no resolution from this company after 2 years. They have not contacted us as stated on HomeStars 6 months ago that they would, even though they live in the same neighbourhood and drive by our house. Shame on Avalon after paying them $30,000 in landscaping services. They did not resolve the problem, after meeting at our home, after we WITNESSED their worker cut the wire to the post light. Edward stated then that he would get a quote from his electrician to reconnect the wiring and dig a trench to bury it. A company is only as good as their word! A registered letter was sent and ignored. We will have to meet in court to get money back after their mistake and false claims to resolve. Terrible customer service!

In the past 15 years, we have hired Avalon Landscaping twice. The second project was completed over 2 years ago. The problem is that a worker damaged some electrical wiring to exterior lighting, for which Avalon is responsible to repair. We witnessed this worker cut the wires and told him he would have to fix it yet Avalon has denied responsibility. Conversations regarding this problem have occurred on site. Letters have been sent to Ed but the repair has not been done. After spending over $20,000 with this company, we are disappointed that it may go to court to be resolved. Hopefully this review further brings it to Ed's attention and that his reply will state that he has owned his workers mistake and resolved this repeat customer's issue. Avalon used to be based on customer satisfaction...we will see if they repair the problem their worker created. It needs to be repaired before Dec 1 or will become a legal matter for Avalon.

Edward and his crew did a great job on our front and backyard Landcaping, including stone and woodwork.
His rates are fairly competitive and Edward's technical ability to do his own professional landscaping drowings help us to grant them our extensive project on a bussy main street of Avenue Road and Eglinton in Toronto, ON.

We are very greatful to enjoy his work this summer and appreciate the great effort he and his crew displayed to make our landscaping goals become a reality.

Avalon Landscaping Inc. replaced my entire front porch, stairs, stair planters and walkway. They were honest, reliablve and finished the job on schedule. Their work has stood the test of time and I was completely satisfied.
