Big Red Door Interior Design

The most impressive thing about this designer was she came out, talked to us about our needs (unlike some I called who wouldn't come out without charging and wouldn't listen over the telephone) and gave us a quote in a timely manner to do up drawings for a renovation. At the time I write this, we have not made a decision regarding hiring. However, Nikki's professionalism impressed me so much, I had to write this comment.

Updating my rental unit into the 2012's. This was a full renovation from the kitchen to the bathrooms, flooring, tiles, even removing a wall. Updating the moldings, window coverings, appliances. It was done in a timely manner and I am really happy with it.

We are thrilled with what Nikki at Big Red Door helped us accomplish with our major kitchen renovation. We had a general idea of what we wanted but no idea of where to start. Our wisest decision, having Nikki involved. She took our vision, wish list and our crazy ideas and turned it into our dream kitchen. Considering some of the renovation horror stories you hear about ours was pretty stress free and effortless. This is due in large to the contractors and suppliers Big Red Door works with and of course Nikki herself. She is calm, organized, focused and demonstrates an exemplary attention to detail. Thank you Nikki again for your kindness, effort and attention in creating the heart of our home. We highly recommend Big Red Door to anyone who is about to venture into a renovation of any size or redesign project.

This was a major reno for us. It involved tearing down numerous walls converting a 70's style segmented floor plan into an open concept contemporary design.

Nikki at Big Red Door was very easy to work with and very helpful in developing the overall layout and design details. She listened to our ideas and preferences and brought them into the design. We used her recommendations for contractors and various suppliers which were all excellent. In addition, she helped simplify the shopping and selection process while getting us discounts at the same time.

Although we are still working on some of the finishing details (we enjoy doing some of the work ourselves), we are thrilled with how it is coming together. We would highly recommend Big Red Door to all our friends and family.
