It's The Right Move

I was very pleased with the way in which my move was conducted. The crew did a superb job - all 3 behaved in a professional manner, were extremely obliging, and went about their work in a competent and pleasant way. They made what is always a stressful time for a homeowner into a positive experience.

So impressed! We were moving rooms in our house and I called all the top rated movers in Homestars. It's The Right Move was the only one that was willing to accommodate our needs without charging a minimum way beyond our needs. They came up with the innovative strategy to fit us in around another move so that all we had to do was pay the hourly rate for time taken. Since we just had a few heavy pieces to move, this was fantastic. They carried things up and down from first to third floor in our narrow century home, including a heavy filing cabinet. They took apart my children's bunk bed and reassembled the separate beds in their new rooms, as well as disassembling and reassembling our dining room table, and with improvements! Philip and his assistant (I think Paul?) were fantastic from beginning to end. Honest, efficient, reliable, and totally competent. Highly recommended!

I must have called over a dozen moving companies for quotes and It's The Right Move was the most professional and courteous. From the first call, Philip offered advice for comparing quotes even if I didn't end up going with his company.

The two guys sent to our apartment in Toronto were fantastic. They arrived right on time and came into our apartment to assess the items that needed to be moved so they could load the truck properly and got started right away. All our furniture was blanket wrapped so it was well protected and didn't get dirty.

Throughout the entire process Paul checked in several times to make sure we were happy with how the move was going. At the 2nd location, they used runners and blankets throughout to make sure they wouldn't scratch the hardwood floors or get carpets dirty. They were very efficient, courteous and had a great sense of humour to make our first moving experience a great one.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent service you and your team provided for the move of my parents from their home in Hamilton to their new residence in Oakville. Even with the first major snowstorm of the season happening all around us on the preparation days and on the actual move day, everything went smoothly and without incident. Your team was very respectful of leaving the home clean in spite of the snow and less than favourable conditions which saved us a great deal of work during the final cleanup. Carrie was amazing in helping us to clean out the mountains of junk, both from the home and the outdoor sheds. She was also diligent in setting up my parent’s suite in the residence so when they arrived, most of the work was done for them which removed a considerable amount of the stress resulting from the move.

Finally, that little extra service picking up the lone rocking chair from my home and delivering it to my parents was most helpful and much appreciated.

I highly recommend your company to anyone contemplating a move and wish you much success in your future business.

Philip and his team (Paul, Johnny and Ben) were amazing. They were on time, pleasant, respectful, efficient, and very skilled. Our move included a piano in the basement and a large play structure in the backyard - neither was a problem for them, and I couldn't believe how quickly and safely they handled everything. We were very happy with the estimated cost of the move and they stuck to it - it was actually slightly less than we were quoted. My husband and I found Philip and his company "It's the right move" about two years ago, on HomeStars. Phillip and his movers were excellent. They were prompt and on time. Moved our furniture with care and in a timely manner. Everyone was very professional and friendly at the same time. Price was very fair and reasonable.

We had hired Philip and his team in the past several times for other moves. The most recent this December after my fathers health declined and his mobility became an issue. Not only did Philip and his team accommodate my fathers quick move into his new retirement residence with a professional manner and great humour! The team was there to give advice about downsizing from a 5 bdrm house to an apt! The move was efficient and the team work yet to be matched.
