The job was to demolish the old front porch and build a new one. Initially, it was quoted that the job could be completed in 2 weeks but it took 3 months. Although his availability was a challenge, Luiz is professional and the job was well done. There were many hurdles along the way that was discovered during digging. Luiz was very flexible and understandable that new things come up and he manage to work around those issues inside the original quote! This is a HUGE plus for any professional contractor.

After several weeks now and after looking at several comparables, I can honestly say now that they did a decent enough job. The floor, while graded well enough, isn't really level as it slopes downward. It's not too bad though, and I can live with it. There are some issues with the brush work that I see now and missed before. 4 The concrete slab is chipping and cracking where it meets the old concrete. I would have preferred it if they cut the old concrete and inserted edging between the old and new in a nice line. But it's too late to change that now. Overall, the job was decent and I won't complain much more.

Dacorte Construction Customs Inc built a concrete patio in my backyard . They offered a reasonable price and got the job done quickly, however there were a few defects that could and would have been prevented. They did a horrible job on the brush marks. I was told they would blend in but a month later they obviously haven't and everyone who comes to my backyard points it out. In addition, they left concrete and gravel bulging out of the sides of the patio, which after pointing it out they covered with top soil and sod.

Luis was very clear and linear when explaining the labourious process of removing the broken concrete of a shared path between our house and our neighbour’s, then replacing with a brand new concrete path.

He was also very reasonable in negotiating the cost of the job.

I was very impressed with the diligence of his team, and kind-of astonished at the Speed and amount of work accomplished in just two days.

It has, since, rained, and the water streams away from our house beautifully. We are very happy with the job by Luis and his crew, and would heartily recommend them for all contracting needs.
