JPS Furnace & Air Conditioning

From start to finish, the company demonstrated excellence and I would recommend to family and friends. The salesperson was so professional and the installers were careful, experienced and patient in explaining new equipment. They went over and above what we expected. Refreshing.

Multiple issues.

Had them trouble shoot into a defective airconditioner, at which time i think the technician did a reasonable job, including cleaning out the airconditioner condenser using the hose. At that time he said an air compressor would work better, but he didn't have it with him as i asked for trouble shooting, not service. ok...

I then scheduled a service for the other airconditioner and a duct cleaning, including a vent to a spare dryer.
- They showed up without an air compressor and made no effort to clean the airconditoner condenser because of that. I cleaned it myself later and it certainly needed it.
- The vacuum they use for the duct cleaning was small and plug into a regular outlet...not nearly the power the vacuum trucs have. The person doing it was in an out in a couple hours. I subsequently had another company clean the vents again which took him 7 hours, and he showed me the original renovation debris JPS did not get out. They also didn't didn't even have access panels where they were supposed to.
- They also charged me to clean a dryer vent. I questions whether they actually did it later and they assured me they did. when i had the ducts cleaned subsequently i asked the other person to check it again and it was clear it was never cleaned. I was not able to use the dryer between those cleanings because of that (it's a spare dryer...).

In short, they do a shotty job, don't show up with the right tools for the job, charge for services not rendered.

FURNACE STOPPED WORKING.
Called Sun - came on Mon and fixed it plus added some stuff (water saver on Humidifier).
Explained what had gone wrong.

The technician was great. He repaired and explained the humidifier problem and installed the water saver. As members of the JPS Care Club we are very pleased with the service we receive.

Our new Daikin two stage furnace was installed in August. The installation went very well. We were most satisfied with the quality of the install. We, however, find our new two stage furnace to be much noisier than our old one. The external exhaust is also very noisy. The technician who came today, Sullly, was very experienced and knowledgeable. He explained to us that two stage furnaces are by definition noisy (which I had learned by searching the internet) but he was able to reduce the blower fan a bit to reduce the noise somewhat. He was very personable and people friendly. We were very happy with our service visit. It was a warranty visit so no charge.

This individual was outstanding in explaining everything about purchasing a Furnace and Air Cond Pkg.

Each step was explained in detail without any sales pressure to buy.

We purchased a Daikin air conditioner from JPS in August. Our salesperson, Jay was friendly and professional. He did a great job of explaining the options and sizing the perfect air conditioner for our needs and budget. Once we made our decision our installation date was set the very next day. The installation crew arrived on time and were friendly and hard working. By the end of the day everything was completed and cleaned up. The air conditioner has been working flawlessly since then. They set up the city inspection which was promptly approved. We had a follow up question which was effectively addressed by the service manager. We would strongly recommend JPS!
