First of all let me start by saying that I have moved 5 times in the last ten years. I have used every reputable moving company In the GTA except for Augusta. This experience was so far above and beyond that I am actually at a loss for words. Every single detail was perfect. They messaged me an hour early to say good morning, share their real-time location, and advise us of their eta. The guys showed up 30 mins early, laid protective runners over our new wooden floors, parked their enormous truck perfectly in our driveway and then proceeded to complete the most efficient, seamless and successful move I have ever been privy to. All of the guys were great to my kids, very well manored and extremely polite. I sincerely cannot recommend this company enough.

What looked pretty straight forward ended up being a 15 hour move with 2 trucks and a capable crew of 4. They worked non-stop until it was done - thanks and well done guys.

Moving can be highly stressful and as we all know, moving day can go either way. Our moving day kicked off with a text message advising the moving team was on the way - which took any worries about arrival times away - they were even ten minutes early!

The team arrived and right from the start we knew we were in good hands. They did a walk through to fully understand what the scope was and then got down to the art of the move.

They were extremely efficient and took the utmost care. It did not matter if it was a box of books or the most delicate of objects - the team treated everything as if it was glass that could shatter. Everything was packaged with care and if there was even a thought that something could break the team ensured it was wrapped in moving blankets and safely secured in the truck. (Of note - whatever you need - they have; TV boxes, wardrobe boxes, blankets, boxes, tape etc.)

Further, in those circumstances where you need a little help - the bed just won’t come apart or you ran out of time - they have a full assortment of tools and will make it happen! You will be happy to know they don’t just take it apart - they also help put it back together.

In conjunction with the superior service received, I would also like to take a moment to simply talk about the team. Adrian, Gabor and Chris were professional, courteous, responsible and reliable. They are very personable, friendly and kind - they helped make the day a resounding success. You simply can’t find a better team!!!

This was our second move with Augusta and we were very happy with their services. They did everything as promised, last time our move went over because we weren't prepared, and this time it went faster because we were super ready.

I had a 4 bedroom apartment that I needed to move from Etobicoke to North York. Dinko, the owner, was so pleasant, he made sure that everything was moved carefully, especially when it came to my fragile stuff. This moving company is like no other, professional, extremely nice and will go the extra mile to make sure your moving experience is not a headache. Thank you augusta movers! You guys were amazing!

We are very pleased with our choice of a moving company!
Augusta Movers were phenomenal from start to end.
They packed. They disassembled. They prepped. They moved. And all this without a single scratch.
All men were extremely efficient, hard working and presentable.
We have a lot of art and all paintings were wrapped in bubble and placed into proper picture boxes.
Furniture was well padded. Floors were protected.
They even carried garment boxes for our three large closets filled with clothes. :)
My husband and I were impressed by the truck packing job. It was a game of Tetris and we genuinely enjoyed watching them play it.

This is by far the most professional company we ever used.
Office staff were also super helpful and responsive to our emails.
We moved into a rental home until our new home is ready and we are definitely using Augusta again!

Our move was complicated: it involved bringing 7 pieces of furniture to a painting company 4 weeks before our move and then picking it up, coming to our house and packing 4 floors of furniture and boxes and delivering it to our new condo. It got complicated when we didn't get our keys until 6 p.m. and weren't allowed to move in after 5 (condo rules). Even the furniture painter was extremely impressed with how well protected the furniture was. Augusta movers were professional; extremely hard working; and very amenable and flexible to make sure we got our furniture delivered as quickly as possible. They came the following day after another job - and moved our stuff in. Not a single thing was damaged; no scuffs; no broken glass; nothing! We would use them again in a flash. They wrapped all pictures and furniture. I can't say enough about them. I think you could trust them with any type of furniture. They will do whatever they can to make the move successful!

Crew was very efficient and professional, satisfy with the overall experience. Items were handled with care during the move and quotation provided was very accurate. The only improvements I would recommend for this company are the following:
- Packing with proper protection for stainless steel items to avoid scratches when in contact with other items inside boxes
- Carry contents separately from sheds to avoid damages to the shed (especially when the shed is made of plastic material)

We've used Augusta before. Previously it was to move our items out of a POD delivered to our driveway after a cross-provincial move, later they delivered an antique refinished dresser. Both those jobs were done professionally, cheerfully and well-priced! Of course we would contact Dinko and Augusta to handle our move from the ex-urbs of T.O. to Kitchener.
The team of four men arrived exactly when they said they would, we had two locations to move from. They set up protective mats and first they loaded a very old, large, heavy, precious family heirloom Welsh dresser with original lead stained glass. They wrapped it with care and moved and secured it in the truck. After loading the truck with the few other pieces at the first locations we headed to our previous home. Again they didn't dawdle and arrived and got to work quickly.
In 2.5 hours they packed our lives and home into their 26ft truck and large panel van. The guys worked fast, professionally, cheerfully AND responsibly - making sure they were drinking lots of water while they worked! They let us now they would stop for lunch before heading to Kitchener and would see us there. We drove ourselves to our new home and an hour later the Augusta truck arrived and the team got straight to work!
They unloaded, set up, chatted away (Nick told us what the word for guinea pig is in Russian as our three piggies made the move with us in our car, sadly we've forgotten the word already :( :( ). They asked for direction when needed, followed my obsessive labelling on the boxes, stayed hydrated and were consistently pleasant, friendly and hard-working the whole time.
A job very well done, at a very fair price! We were happy before to recommend Augusta to our friends and family in need of movers and now even more so, seeing how stellar they worked through this household move of ours! We are happy give Augusta a glowing recommendation on Homestars and would be happy to employ again for another move!
