sent the pic. he q0uted $400 we agreed on . when he got there he asked $600, in two min. he increased to $800 and left. sky light still is leaking.
rain on Sat. night made damage worse.

First, Job was done a year ago. I wanted to see how the fixed of my eaves trough was doing in a year time. So, I delayed the review for Ako's work. Sorry about that.

My house is in downtown Toronto. Like many of houses in downtown, my house was built closely to my neighbor’s house. One side of the roof is touching my neighbor’s wall. This eaves trough near my neighbor’s wall has broken. I consulted many roofers( more than 20). Some of them simply refused to do it since the job is difficult. Some asked high price for it, around 6000 dollars.

Finally I found Ako. He came down to my house, went up to the roof and looked at the problem. The way he climbed up to the roof made me feel he was a great person. He climbed from my front porch. When he was on the roof of the porch, he put down a ladder on the roof of the porch. The way he put down the ladder made him a different roofer. He carried some unused membrane. When he put down the ladder, he put the unused membrane under the legs of ladder so that the ladder legs would not damage the membrane on the roof of the porch. He is the only roofer who did that out of more than 20 that I consulted with. That was every considerate of Ako. I appreciated it.

Then Ako spent hour and half to explain to me what he would do to fix the problem. Next day, my neighbor wanted to know how the roofer would fix the problem. Ako came down again and spent an hour to explain to my neighbor. Lastly, we all agreed on a solution.

When the scheduled date for work arrived, Ako came on time. He spent 8 hours on my roof to get the problem fixed. He was even kind enough to fix a piece of broken membrane on my roof that was not related to the eaves trough work. After all the work was done and everything was cleaned up, I gave Ako a cheque and got the receipt in mail in two days and a warranty of work for 5 years.

Ako is not the least expensive roofer and certainly not the most expensive one. But, he is Toronto certified roofer. He is patient, kind, considerate and skillful. The work done by him has no problem for a year of my observation. Getting it done right, that is all that matters. I highly recommend Ako to anyone who need a roof work to be done correctly.

Quan explained to me exactly what needed to be replaced and what didn't need to be replaced in my roof. He is honest and trustworthy. The price was also quite reasonable.

We had a little leak in the roof. Quan was very busy, so it took about a week (and some persistence on my part) to iron out a mutual time, but he got the job done right! His work cost about 1/3 of the other company's bid. And yet, I feel that we did not sacrifice quality at all. Quan seemed very knowledgeable, and very honest. He refused to sell me work I didn't need, telling me I had several years of life in my flat roof and that his patching should do the trick for the years left on the roof. He was clean, courteous, fast, and friendly. A gentleman and a tradesman. I promptly referred him to a friend in the neighborhood.

Mr. Quan Wu came to check the problem and told me how much it would cost and when he could have the job done. He took the measurements to his shop to have two flashings made to keep the water away from the top and sides of the skylights. He arrived in the morning removed the shingles and the skylights. He reinstalled the skylights with the flashings and ice and water. He replaced the old shingles and chaulked. He also remove and replace the bathroom exhaust vent on the roof. Mr. Wu saw two roof vents was incorrectly installed other minor defects on the roof by the previous roofer and he fixed them. He also repaired two bent area on gutter. The roof vents, minor defects and repaired bent at no additional charge. Since the repairs, there are no leaks. He takes his job seriously with excellent pricing and workmanship as well as very pleasant and mannerly . Keepup the good work Mr. Quan Wu and thank you for resolving my problems and more.

He worked very effectively. our request is fully finished on time. he is a great technician.... He does not talk much, his work is besutiful.
He came and made an estimate first and then when we called again after a while, he still can remember our house's problem, and explained to us what should be done...

I am so appreciated that AKO Roofing did great job in installing the new roof for my house in November. I am impressed by their professional skills to give us the good solutions for many problems cause by the bad design before. They are trustworth professional teem.

He handled this job seriously with his workmanship and his good manner.
He repaired a part of the old singles with the proper materials.Checked the condition of underneath of the singles and apply the flat roof sheet then put the singles on the top of it and correct the flash problem.
He explained how he replaced and repaired the existing flat roofing with pictures.
Since he repaired there is no leaking from the problem reef portion still he offered offered the follow up if we need any help.
