I had an emergency plumbing situation at my home as the main waterline into my house had busted. One of the complex things about this plumbing job was that I had to coordinate the plumber with 2 different city departments. Jim was very understanding of this and assisted me first thing in the morning and completed the job with in a specific time frame.

One of the other things that struck me as very professional was despite Jim having the materials to complete the job once he saw the issue first hand he realized there was better material he could use to complete the job. He left my home and went out and purchased the item and returned to complete the job.

My wife asked me to change the light fixture in our guest bathroom. One thing lead to another and I ended up renovating the entire thing. New paint, vanity, toilet. I had an issue where the new sink did not line up with the drainage pipe. I didn't want to risk leakage by trying it myself so I called Jim at Fluid Transitions. Jim was there promptly at 9.30am as promised. He performed the job quickly and thoroughly. I asked if it was okay for me to see what he was doing so that I could learn and he began to walk me through the job as he did it. Jim was professional from start to finish and would not leave until I was happy with the job. II strongly recommend his services.

FANTASTIC I thought I was just going to be adding a shower to a two piece bath in the basement of our new home. Thankfully, Jim made us aware of the illegal and dreadful installation of the 2 piece bath that wasn't even vented. Our new 3 piece bathroom is more than I ever thought it would be. Jim and Chris and Chris constantly explained everything they were doing. I really appreciated how personable they all were. They thought of everything, even raising the shower head as high as possible for my 6'7" son.
The work was done in a timely, professional and very clean manner, over Christmas.

I searched for a General Contractor and was fortunate to find Jim Cunningham owner of Fluid Transitions. I had a very large flood which resulted in the loss of an entire ceiling. Jim and his team of expert professionals did all of the repairs which included extensive drywall repair, electrical work, and plumbing. The quality of the work done to my home was excellent. Jim and his team of professionals did all of the repairs necessary on time and with a level of excellence that was outstaning. I highly recommend him 10++

Jim and his helper Gary are good! I had a leaky shower and I tried to fix it myself, tried re-caulking the floor and applied some mansonary sealer, wasted time and money and it still leaks!

Frustrated I looked around, and stumbled upon Jim, based on the review I called him right away!

He came by the same day with Gary, very courteous. Taken care not to spoil the floor, even though I really don't mind, it is very appreciated.

You can tell he is very experienced, this is very important fixing issues like this, if he had experience fixing such problems before, that will be a time and money saver for you!

It turned out to be a faulty shower faucet, bear in mind this is not something a layman can figure out. My shower drain is all right, the floor is also good, you find nothing wrong by only turning on the faucet, it only leaks when I showers! So Jim did a test a right way, he spotted the problem almost immdiately, there is a stream of water running down the middle of the faucet, I could not find it myself! He took it off, and there he found a loosened rubber washer off the faucet.

Jim bought brand new faucet set, and replaced the whole thing, I did some test myself and it is holding up!

I would recommend people not to try to DIY on plumbing project, especially when it is on your 2nd floor, it is very risky and it can prove very expensive in the long run for you!

Jim & his associate Gary were punctual, professional, courteous and cleaned up the work areas before they left.
They did a great job with the installation of the toilet(s) which required some extra work & the copper repair on the cold water pipe. During the whole process Jim explained what was being done & why which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend him to anyone

We had a leaky faucet in the bathroom for a while and Jim was recommended to us by another family member who used this comany. Jim was extremely friendly and professional. He gave us an honest opinion regarding a quick fix versus getting it replaced. Since we had some outdated knobs he had to hunt around a bit for the parts, and was able to fix the problem. Also, he recommended we install a moen bathroom tap since they have a lifetime warranty. Jim and his colleague both installed and replaced everything in under 20 minutes. They were quick, precise, and extremely neat, at the end of it we didn't have to clean up any debris. Thank you so much!

We had a frustrating chronic problem with low water flow during showers. No more than one person could shower at a time and the water pressure was very low. I was sure the problem was with our pressure balancing valves. Jim Cunningham from Fluid Transitions came promptly the next day. After investigating the shower valves and house-wide plumbing in general Jim was able to determine that the problem was with our hot water tank which was getting clogged, impeding hot water flow. The low pressure was a result of our pressure balancing valves compensating for that, as they're supposed to do. I never would have figured that out. Jim replaced the hot water tank and made sure the problem was solved before finishing. Jim was prompt, professional, very capable, and a pleasure to work with. I have no hesitation about giving Jim and Fluid Transitions 10 stars for that excellent service.

Jim Cunningham was very responsive, prompt ans professional. He was great at explaining the issue to me - and made sure I understood the fix. Not only was he able to address my leak but he also went above and beyond to reinforce areas that he did not have to. He just did the work today and I have already recommended him to my sister and friends - I could not have received better service or work.
