I highly recommend using the services of Sean and Mold Insight for any water damage and mold issues. I was short of time and contacted Sean to look into a mold issue of a rental unit based on reviews on this site.

Sean is very thorough, professional, and courteous. It was simple to set up the appointment, he showed up on time, and actually cares about his clients. He allowed me to accompany him during the inspection which gave me an opportunity to ask my many questions and see the issues first hand. This also made it easy to understand the detailed report that he delivered very promptly following the inspection. I was very relieved that Sean was able to discover that the key issue arose from a leak from the shower unit. I believe that Sean’s background in home inspections is a contributing factor in him being able to take a holistic view of the situation.

Afterwards, I was able to share Sean’s report with the remediation company. This saves time and money as the remediation company can use the report to help them understand the root cause of the issues and therefore, only work on areas that they need to.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Sean’s services - from the initial contact, the inspection, the professional report and also to him responding to questions after delivery of the report. He was able to provide peace of mind about a mold issue as well as practical suggestions on the next steps I could take to resolve the issue.
