The Mold Guy, Mold Detection & Removal

In the past year, our family has hired The Mold Guy on two occasions to inspect a couple of concerning areas. Both times we were reassured to find out that the areas were not mould - just efflorescence on a wall adjacent to a window in my daughter's home, and yellow moisture spots on the ceiling of our upstairs washroom. Russ had already kindly lent his expertise and reassurance via pictures, but we decided to have someone inspect in person after finding some additional spots. Really fast service. This company is very responsive and explains every part of the process from start to finish. The technician that comes out is very knowledgeable and addressed all the areas I was concerned about. Luckily I didnt need mold removal, but if I ever do, I would use them!

Great experience! My tenant was complaining about mold they found in the bathroom and all over the window sills. I called another company who told me it was going to cost over $1000 to remove it. I called the Mold Guy for a second opinion and they were able to send someone to check it the next day. Turns out it could be cleaned by the tenant and even explained how to keep it from returning. Ross came out and not only completed the 3 tests efficiently (control, basement, and the room I was concerned about), he basically walked around and checked the whole house, giving me tips (eg not having cardboard boxes in a very unfinished room of the basement, checking for dust on the ductless AC units on the third floor that could inhibit air circulation, etc.) I received a full report incl lab results within 3 days. It was a relief to know my son's room was safe after all. Definitely recommend Ross and his expertise!

The Mold Guy is the only Mold remediation company I recommend. From start to finish they are an absolute pleasure to deal with. I called The Mold Guy when we lifted the carpets in our house and found black mold everywhere. Immediately they had someone come out and make a list of every location in the house that the mold needed to be removed. It was almost just a day later that I got a call that their team was last minute available to come to my house. The next day they showed up and a garbage bin was put in our driveway. This service was incredibly fast, very thoroughly done and the communication was fantastic. Really impressed with this company and would definitely recommend to others.
