Structube College Street

We bought our sofa bed from there and it is vey comfortable and nice. Compare to other store, the prices are reasonable and the quality is not bad! We also bought our dinning table. Nice and good price!

I've got my wonderful sofa bed with reasonable price. It's so comfy and everyone said it was one one the best that they ever slept on.
You can find good product, really good price and nice design at Structube.
The only thing that I'm concern is their exchange and return policy, they shipped their product from Montreal if you want to return something you have to pay 2 nonrefundable shipping and handling. Overall, I totally recommend them.

I just finished putting together the KABLE bedroom set from Structube- specifically the College street location in little italy Toronto. I was worried after reading some of the reviews on this site but I like to think I'm fairly competent and could handle the assembly with the help of a friend. I loved the look of this set so much that I figured, considering how beautiful it is the price is very reasonable, and I went in expecting to have to put a few hours into assembling each piece. That said, it was exactly what I was expecting. I had a friend help me and between the two of us we were able to put together the whole set with next to no problems. We just split it up- a piece or two every day- so it never got overwhelming. The first piece was a little tricky for this set- but once you figure out one piece the others are all the same. I couldn't figure out how to make the spring mechanism work on the drawers so I came online looking to see if anyone else had this problem- which is how I wound up on homestars. Someone else did have this problem but wrongfully assumed that all his spring mechanisms were broken. I just called the college street location and asked to speak with Spencer- Spencer is quite possibly the nicest most helpful retail salesguy I've ever met- i must have tried out each mattress like five times while Spencer just accompanied me being super helpful and friendly. Anyway, I called and asked for Spencer and he went to the drawer in the store, pulled it out so he could follow my question and he quickly figured out that I had not turned the end of the plastic spring so as to make the necessary contact with the magnet. It was such a simple easy solve and I was so grateful that Spencer was so helpful. I HIGHLY recommend going to the College store just for him, although I also met Patrick- the manager I think, and he was equally knowledgeable and helpful.
Even the delivery guys were super nice and considerate. All in all I LOVE my furniture- it looks beautiful and works beautifully, the mattress is really lovely- I was surprised by the quality of mattress they carried and I'm glad I bought it there- it was a really good price for the quality- and I had nothing but the best experience with their staff.

After purchasing a chair and console from Structube, I went back a week later to pick up the items. When they brought the two items out, instead of the console I ordered, there was a desk. Somehow, someway, it was my fault!!! I then asked that they order the console and deliver to my condo without charge, not only do they refuse, but they were rude, dismissive, and it is obvious that they just don't care.

We went to Structube for a lamp, in the showroom the price was 349 when we asked about it, the salesman told it that that it did not include the delivery price of 70.Being extremely heavy, the delivery was mandatory, and the men would leave the base in the exact spot because even moving it a couple of feet could hurts us; all we would have to do is take the burlap wrapping off.The delivery was on time, but then the guys just left it in the living room, and the wrapping, was not burlap but two very well packed boxes; meaning we needed to move the base just to get it out of the boxes.So we called the store(at College)and Andrea was extremely rude, even said she had better things to do than to speak to us, I asked her to at least apologize as they had mislead us, she wouldn't and would not give as the name of her supervisor. Don't know how we are going to do it but as she said: we are on our own.DON'T BUY FROM STRUCTUBE. BTW- seen several blogs complaining about this woman, yet she's still the "manager"!

After purchasing the Kable set and being told by the staff that assembly would be "not a problem", a friend and I set out to put the bed together. This took 3.5 hrs and a rib was missing. The boys at the College st. Structube were very helpful and gave me the missing part.

Next I set my sights on the tall boy. There around 120 pieces of hardware. Between the 2 of us, this took 4 hrs. There was a chunk missing out of one of the drawers and none of the spring mechanisms worked. I took my complaint to the woman at Structube who was not only extremely unfriendly and confrontational, she essentially told me I was on my own. Having already gotten rid of the packaging, she gave me the number of an assembly company which I'd have to pay to figure it out. Did I just spend $700 on a piece that might not work at all??? The assembly company guy said he'd done many an assembly on this particular model and they are one of the most complex he'd seen. So much for "not a problem". Had I known at the outset, I would have simply gotten it assembled professionally.

I was fuming and wanted to complain to the company. I searched for a way of contacting head office but there was none on the site. Called this same woman back who said she'd call me back with the info. She never did.

Next day I called back to follow up on this and got one of the guys. I explained the entire saga to him. He was sooooooooo friendly and accomodating. He said he'd had the same issue and offered to come over that evening with an easy fix. As good as his word, he showed up right on time and showed me an ingenious fix! He also showed me that this furniture is extremely finicky and you need to press firmly and specifically on the spot where the magnet connects with the drawer.

A great ending to a story where quality control was poor and initial customer service even worse!

My first purchase from Structube was a leather sofa and loveseat. I was able to buy it with their no interest credit offer. There were no hidden interest fees as long as your payments were made on time. I wasn't 100% pleased with the delivery company (it is outsourced) as they didn't deliver within their time frame and in fact, delivered at 10:30 p.m.

My second purchase was a buffet/hutch. Again, the purchase was effortless and the same payment plan applied. I was not impressed with the length of time it took to deliver. We had just moved and I was in need of the additional storage space. I was told that the shipment was being held 'in port' in Vancouver. I was given several different estimated delivery dates and they all came and went. I finally received my buffet about 2-3 months later. That was too long.

My third purchase was a desk. Again, same payment plan. They had that in stock so it came home with us the same day. The sales associate helped us load the desk into the car. We also purchased a set of drawers for the desk. This was backordered but the delivery was within a reasonable time frame.

In summary, I will purchase from Structube again. I love their furniture and haven't had a problem with the quality. The sales staff was always helpful and courteous. I've received many compliments on my furniture pieces. In fact, those same people have also purchased pieces from Structube.
