complete master bathroom and walk-in closet renovations

Totally dissatisfied with the trades that were brought to work on my project. What was to be a 3 and a half week project turned into a 4 month nightmare, The principals of this company have no experience in construction and it was one screw up after another. They finally abandoned the project leaving me with an unusable bathroom and walk-in closet.

Approximate cost of services:
$25,000.00

Company Response

Hello Fai,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We hope that we can address your concerns with the following response.

1. The project was never abandoned, and we did not leave you with an unusable bathroom and walk-in closet. Both were in fact usable, but just not to your liking.
2. After the project was substantially completed (minus minor deficiencies and touch-ups) and you were dissatisfied, we made many attempts to come in and make rectifications, which you did not allow us to do. Hence-- the job was not abandoned, you prevented us from finishing our work.
3. If we did not have any experience in construction, we would not have any other happy clients. This can be verified with a simple online search.
4. The reason the project took longer than anticipated, was due to the fact that you and your wife addressed deficiencies throughout the project. This prevented us from moving forward, therefore delaying the process altogether. Before the 2 month mark, we suggested to settle the renovation, as we realized that you would simply not be satisfied with our services.

As a final note, we would also like to clarify that we did not collect nearly half the total for the project, in order for you to use that money on a company that would be better suited to your requirements. It's understandable that you may not have been happy with our quality of work, but to make us sound like a "nightmare" is inaccurate-- especially given the fact that we came in after other "nightmare" contractors, hoping to correct their mistakes.

Again we're sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with our work. We hope that you are able to find a contractor that is able to satisfy you and your wife. We wish you the best of luck with your renovation process.
