Great Price, Great People

I had three basement windows remodelled. The salesman was great and knew his stuff. He was not pushy at all and really wanted us to know what product would work well for our space. The odd thing was that when the labourers came, they didn’t knock or alert us they were on site. Instead, I had to come outside after hearing a bunch of noise in my yard. They were friendly when I approached them, but it would’ve been nice to know when they arrived. There were two installers (I think one was training the other) and they mostly kept to themselves and got the job done. The price for the job was also about $200 less than a competitor that we checked out. Everything went well overall. The only downside is that since the metal frame stayed in and the window was retrofitted in, a bit of rust has seeped through the caulking.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,000.00

Company Response

Hello,
Thank you for your valuable input regarding your experience with Windowtech. We are delighted to hear that our sales representative was able to offer you his extensive product knowledge as well as competitive pricing.
Our team works hard to ensure we offer our customers the best possible pricing, exceptional customer service as well as profesionall installations. The installation process is very important for us as we strive to create a positive lasting impression with our customers and would like to apologize for any anxiety this situation may have caused you or your family. It is mandatory for all installers to greet the customers and make their presence known prior to work commencing, and after speaking with all of them, we can ensure that this experience will not be repeated.
Your existing metal frame in the basement is the support of the brick and it's part of the wall structure (it's not part of the window opening). This metal support needs to be painted in order to last longer.
Enjoy your new windows, we look forward to working with you in the future.
