I am so glad that I met trends kitchen. Mario Ronaldo and Luis, the owner were very helpful and organized in their job . I had a previous kitchen company over a year prior and had left me hanging I am now in the middle of a court battle but trends kitchen came to the rescue when nobody else would. There was a lot of responsibility with taking my kitchen job as there were many mistakes with my previous kitchen installer and trends kitchen fixed them all . My kitchen was nowhere near ready when I contacted trends and they were able to give me the beautiful kitchen that I waited so long for . Mario and rinaldo thank you for having so much patience with me and understanding my needs . I will without reservation recommend trends until my dying day !! And here is my beautiful kitchen!

My husband and I recently refinished our kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity in Oakville. From the first moment of contact, Luis was extremely professional, very pleasant to work with and explained everything in detail. Luis and his team were on time and worked extremely hard. Their work was so incredibly good and we couldn't believe the difference it made. It completely changed the look of our kitchen and we couldn't be happier. Friends who have been over to the house have commented how amazing the job looks. We would highly recommend Luis for any job and will definitely be contacting him again in the future for any future work we need. Thanks so much Luis for such an incredible job...we love our kitchen!!!

Fantastic team... fantastic results. I would highly recommend Luis and team. They are professiional friendly people who wirk hard and are focussed on results. It was a pleasure working with them and our kitchen looks amazing! We considered refacing but I am thrilled that we were able to reuse the existing cabinets .. they look brand new and the paint finish is perfect.

Trends painted my kitchen cabinet doors and drawers. It was done in a timely manner, no delays. The finish looks perfect. The old cabinets were dated bleached ivory pinkish maple. Now it looks like a brand new kitchen. We ordered new hardware from Trends, can't beat the price! Highly recomended .

We hired Trends to reface our kitchen cabinets, as well as add some new cabinetry, change countertops, backsplash and install a range hood. Some of the work required custom work in an oddly shaped space, for which Trends designed a creative solution.

Luis, Renato, Juan and team were lovely to work with. Their workmanship was high quality, well crafted and precise. Luis was extremely patient during the decision-making process, and truly seemed to want to make us happy.

In terms of tangible items, the project was delivered very close to the original promised timeframe, and was on budget. There were a few minor changes which we requested and which were done free of charge.

We had heard horror stories from friends about getting their kitchens done. We experienced quite the opposite, and highly recommend Luis and his team for a kitchen job.

We had a wonderful experience working with Luis and his team. They designed and built our family room and office cabinetry which we love and will enjoy for years to come. The Trends wood finishing team is professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. I would recommend them highly!

Trends, owner operater is a very good actor by pretending he is knowledgable of kitchen design and layout. Our kitchen had many errors due to owner's mis-measurements, poor design and workmanship and because of this our kitchen cabinet project was delayed 2 months and still not finished. Homeowners made several attempts for Trends' owner, to redeem himself and get the job completely with professionalism and have his installer demonstrate the skill and knowledge resulting in excellent workmanship, instead he offered homeowners he will be walking off the job, leaving the unfinished work for someone else to fix and replace. Some examples: homeowners gave owner dishwasher specs 24 inch standard width, him and his installer cut the opening at 23.78 inches. He was repeatedly told it will not fit and he guaranteed homeowners it would as he does this everyday for a living. The dishwasher arrives and it does not fit, as well as new cabinets he installed on both sides are now impeding on the dishwasher door. No panels on either side for a complete finish so drawers don't rub against dishwasher. Again poor design and not thoughtfully sought out. His poor design on upper 2 cabinets will not allow valence to fit straight from side to side as cabinets are not symmetrical. One side is 14 inches and the other 12 inches, again poor design and mis-measurement on something he constructed (see photo as valence not installed due to incorrect design). He left the valence on the floor. Shelving and panels in pantry all lopsided, gaps around edges, shelves tilting forward, again poor design and workmanship. Small mailbox drawer newly design messed up twice due to mis-measurements and poor design, and now left with mailbox unfinished and not what homeowner had originally designed with owner then again with installer. The first design made by owner was worse than the installers's design. Trends promised he would deliver the missing front panel and still waiting for it as of today, very unreliable and not trustworthy. The dishwasher is the biggest problem and totally his fault. There are plenty of more examples of poor design and workmanship, but too many to list. Needless to say, Trends, has left the residence with unfinished work that are all his mistakes, as he felt it would be easier to walk off the job than come back and replace and repair his damage. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE MADE UP OF UNSKILLED, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE STARTING FROM THE OWNER. THANK YOU TRENDS FOR THE AWFUL EXPEREINCE FOR 2 MONTHS AND LEAVING US WITH YOUR MISTAKES/IMPERFECTIONS NOW ALLOWING SOMEONE SKILLED & PROFESSIONAL TO CORRECT TREND'S MESS.

We were very happy with the whole process. Luis was helpful, punctual, provided excellent service at a very reasonable price.

After 7 years in our now 16 year old home, in August of 2012 my wife and I began getting quotes to refinish our kitchen. We considered a complete gut, simple refacing of the cupboards, and a custom mix of both approaches. We had 5 companies quote us over a 2 week period.

I met with Trends after researching them online, and dropping by their Oakville location where I initially met Luis’ son and saw their facility and showroom. Luis came to my house several times to verify measurements and design ideas. He walked me through what was possible, and agreed to customize a basic door design to my specifications. We decided to have granite installed, replace a number of cabinets, add a number of totally new cabinets, and had new doors made to suit the kitchen. We also opted for door match panels by the refrigerator and dishwasher, another great idea from Luis. The color of the cabinetry was custom stained to match some hardwood flooring in adjacent rooms in our home.

I ended up selecting Trends, though they were neither cheapest nor most expensive, and some other companies offered to price match. Having seen the shop, and met several folks from Trends, I felt they would do a quality job, and offered good value.

Luis also offered some excellent ideas for ways to achieve what we wanted, including one that I did not initially agree to, but did come around to. We ended up replacing the cabinet over the microwave, in order to meet code for distance from cooktop to the bottom of the over the range microwave. That did mean moving the microwave vent in the wall, but has come together beautifully in the end. I should have listened to Luis when he first suggested it!

Once the manufacturer built the units, David and Luis came on time as promised, and installed the cabinetry all in one day. They were organized, coordinated and professional. Any small issues were completely resolved to my satisfaction, and we are loving our new kitchen.

Not only would I absolutely recommend Trends to others, I have already used them again for another project, and am planning a third for the beginning of 2013.

Quality, honesty and exceptional service define my experience with Trends in Oakville. Give them a call, you won’t be disappointed!

So I hired this guy Luis to spray my kitchen cabinets for me and reface the kick plate in my kitchen. I paid him in cash. After he left I noticed the area around the stove was missed and still had the old color. So I called him to let me know when he would come back to complete the job. He gave me the run around and till this day has not the decency to call me back regarding the unfinished job.
I will never use his company again and urge you not to because he doesn't value the customer once he's paid in full.
If you dare to use him then make damn well sure he's completed the job before you pay him or you'll never see or hear from him again.
