First Call Heating And Air Conditioning

I'm really happy with First call, they came out in 6 hours on time as promised and told me all up costs up front from showing up, hourly rate plus parts. My house is warming up fine and it got down to 16 degrees so it had to be done ASAP and it was -30 today. Brian was really helpful and knew what to do. To be fair, as far as the other review about furnace and duct cleaning misleading charges, all the prices are there in writing. Every company seems to price it out this way and it is legitimate if you count the number of vents. I had this done with another company a month ago and that may be why my furnace might have stopped working. Thanks

VERY disappointing service from First Call Heating & A/C. I bought a Groupon ($69 for a $149 package). The Groupon did expire and as per Groupon's policy, I called and asked if I could apply the price I paid for the Groupon ($69) towards furnace cleaning - I would of course then pay the difference. They were very unaccommodating on the phone as soon as they heard I had a Groupon and said the only way I could use the Groupon was if I bought the $249 package! So, in order to use a $69 Groupon, I have to spend $180 - utterly ridiculous especially because this was not even the original deal advertised in the Groupon! I have now paid $70 for a Groupon I can't even use. I was extremely disappointed and will never get service from this company again and discourage my friends/family from doing so.

does a good job but chooses to go through group buying sites like groupon, which will advertise a furnace and duct cleaning for $59, then the fine print will catch you. Ducts in excess of 10 ducts (most houses have more than 10), you have to pay extra per duct, mandatory.

First Call has come to our assistance twice now to help us when our elderly parents had either heating or hot water tank issues in their homes. Both times they identified the faulty part within minutes. We were very happy to hear that our parents equally thought the technicians were very knowledgeable, pleasant and took the time to clearly explain the issues before fixing them. My husband & I are very pleased with First Call’s professionalism and will certainly phone them again if we need servicing or upgrading.

I had a central air conditioning unit installed. They showed up on time and did a good job with set up. Explained everything and cleaned up after themselves. My only complaint is they took my sewer drain cap with out asking if I wanted it or not and the thermostat was unable to be hooked up properly. We eventually changed to a different thermostat.

From the estimate to the complete installation was a great experience. They were very accommodating and did the work in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to install air conditioning in ther homes.

My old furnace was 36 years old and needed to be replaced. First Call was a great company to work with. For the initial quote, all the options were made clear and recommendations were made for the best options for us, not just trying to up sell the product. All the additional costs of installation were made clear before any work was done, and because lots of additional work had to be done by code, it was nice not to have surprise costs. Drop cloths were used and they were in and out in a day. There was a little bit of a mess left by the installers under the thermostat which i think they just forgot about. Brad (one of the owners) stopped later to accept payment and to check on the job and he offered to clean it himself. First Call also looked after all the rebate paperwork and permits. I am very satisfied with the work and the service!

Our furnace wasn't working and we called the company to get it looked at. He came and did a diagnosis and figured out what the problem was. He called for parts, but couldn't make it there on time. So he called his company to purchase the replacement parts after hours. He went above and beyond to get the parts to fix the furnace. He did it in an efficient manner and we were very satisfied with the service. We were so pleased with the work, that we personally, contacted the company to compliment the serviceman. We would highly recommend this company to others.
