We recently purchased a home and needed a living room built off the back of the house. We had four people quote the job. We ended up choosing to go with Robert because his quote was at the lower end of the spectrum, he spoke knowledgeably about the work and he was very responsive to our phone calls and emails.

Overall, we were impressed by the job Robert did. Robert completed the job approximately two weeks earlier than planned, and stayed on budget (save for some upgrades/additional work that we asked him to do). His team was on site every day and kept the site clean at all times.

Throughout the project, Robert continued to be responsive to our calls and emails. He always accommodated our busy schedules by setting up early morning or weekend meetings, which we appreciated. Robert was also willing to some small jobs around the house at no additional cost to us.

We intend to use Robert and his team for our next project, and would gladly recommend them to others.

Robert and his team did my whole basement in laminate flooring in one day, looked great and was very professional. Robert then restored my front steps of my house by getting rid of the crumbling steps and rails and building it over from scratch which makes my house the envy of the neighbourhood. Both of these projects have added significant value to my house.

Robert and his team were excellent to work with. He communicated well over email prior to starting and worked out all the details of the project beforehand. They were always on time and did not take longer than estimated. The cost did not increase during the project, and they even added an extra feature (a niche in the wall) since it really suited the space. Overall they were friendly, reliable, and very skilled!

One of the two wood 4X4 columns supporting the overhanging roof at the front of our house had rotted out and needed to be replaced. We chose 8 inch round smooth fibreglass columns with a cap and base. The work also included 3 foot concrete footings to support the columns. The columns were obtained through Capital Columns and Trim operated by Herb Mena. The installation was done by Robert the owner of Blue Leaf Construction.

It is obvious that Robert enjoys his work and is committed to providing an excellent service to his customers. His attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is outstanding. The columns look fantastic and now solidly support the overhang. Robert took the time to explain what he was doing as the job progressed and why he was doing it.
