Westridge Electric

This is the second time Dustin has helped us with outdoor electrical work. He replaced one outdoor light and returned for a second project. Both times Dustin was prompt and professional and did an excellent job with the project. He also took time to answer questions and evaluate a third possible project we are considering. We would be pleased to have Dustin do any future work.

We recently renovated our lower level and needed someone to do the lighting install. Westridge Electric came highly recommended by our contractor. We called them and they sent Len out to look at our requirements. He did a review and gave us a quote, which we accepted. He also gave us some suggestion based on his many years in the business and we are glad that we accepted his recommendations, as we might not have been as satisfied if we had proceed as we had originally planned. He gave us a date to do the work and arrived in a timely fashion. He and his co-worker finished the work in less than a day. We are very pleased with the finished product, and would recommend Len and Westridge Electric to anyone looking for electrical work.

I am an engineer that recently purchased a house with aluminium wiring on my dream property just north of Stony Plain, Alberta. I discovered West ridge Electric after very thoroughly researching aluminum wiring hazards and the various temporary & permanent fixes. After talking back and forth with Dustin from Westridge for months, I had him come all the way from Okotoks to perform a thorough inspection of my home. The service thus far was unmatched and very professional.
Once the inspection was complete I agreed to the Copalum fix, among many other home upgrades for aesthetic and personal purposes. Months later when I was finally ready, Len and Curtis arrived, with a very professional and warm attitude. They offered many suggestions and were never pushy or overbearing. They were extremely clean, polite, and very easy to work with. After about a week they had the complete house up to code, all the aluminum wiring in my home copalumed, Clean Volt surge protector, generator panel, complete service and panel upgraded, and my ever growing ‘extra list’ completed.
I cannot thank Westridge, Dustin, Len, and Curtis enough for their very professional and appreciative attitude. They all were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Westridge and their crew have now become my go to electricians for any future projects or upgrades. I plan on building a shop, among other out buildings, and Westridge will be my first call.....even if they have to come all the way from Okotoks!
I can only hope that Copalum and Westridge get the recognition they deserve to make all aluminum wired homes safe.

When our home inspection identified that several aluminum circuits existed in the home, I quickly needed to have a more thorough understanding of the condition of the electrical in the home. After some internet searching, I came across Westridge Electric as a highly regarded company who offer a number of options for Aluminum wiring. I contacted Westridge Electric via email the evening that my home inspection took place and spoke with Abby the next morning. Given that we were under a time sensitive Offer to Purchase Agreement for the home, we needed someone in that day to inspect the electrical in the home. Dustin came out that afternoon, inspected the home, and identified all of the electrical concerns (in addition to the aluminum wiring). Dustin was professional, thorough, and provided us with all of the remediation options and price estimates we required. Westridge Electric took the time to understand our needs and the time constraints we were under and accommodated us. As a result of the initial contact, professional response, and fair and upfront pricing, we chose to proceed with Westridge Electric. Len, Curtis, and Dustin showed up on the start day as scheduled and went through all of the details previously discussed to ensure all of us understood the scope agreed upon in the quotation and also go through the fine details of plug and switch locations, additional options, project timeframe. Len was the project lead responsible for completing the rewire and panel change out and upon meeting him, he quickly established his strong customer focused approach and then backed it up throughout the project by improving the electrical functionally of home as the job progressed. Len and his team always showed up as scheduled, provided excellent service, and incorporated attention to detail into the entire project. Len pointed out previous electrical issues (hidden junction boxes, poor wiring) and corrected all of the issues. As a result, our Lake Bonavista home is much safer and more functional for our children to grow up in. I cannot thank Len, Curtis, Dustin, Abby, and Cody enough for the their professionalism and the quality of service they provided. Westridge Electric is a high quality, professional, and very customer focused operation. had Westridge rewire my 1926 house with minimal damage to the original lath and plaster walls. the crew did a great job, would recommend them for future work.

We needed to replace our electricity mast and 3 break boxes as well as move our meter. We got good references from our friends who had used Westridge. The quote was professional. We really like the two electricians and they have done a wonderful job!!

Dustin the tech showed up promptly for the appointment time scheduled. He was very personable, knowledgeable and explained the cost and parts requirement prior to starting the work. Dustin provided a detailed explanation of code requirements as it pertained to my inspection and ensured the items repaired functioned properly. Upon phone call to book an appointment, Darren was told how the appointment was going to go, time of appointment, diagnosis and how much the repair was going to cost. Len, our tech, showed up on time and was amazingly professional. Everything that was told would happen, happened. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable about the situation and what is going to happen moving forward. Absolutely no hidden fees!! For the first time we can say that we feel better after a trade has left our home!

Len was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating with respect to the household pets. Very sincere and honest with his work, quote and time. Would hire him again!
