Breckenridge Concrete

Breckenridge did all the concrete work for our Shane home. They finishing in the garage is horrible. They were supposed to come fix it, but never did. They had gotten concrete all over the back of our home and deck, and it felt like pulling teeth to get someone to come clean up the mess. If it wasnt for Shane homes, i dont think they would have come back to fix their error. The first attempt at a clean up was pitiful at best, and resulted in a few return trips.
I would not recommend this company.

Since Breckenridge was the concrete subcontractor for Shane homes we thought that since they were in pouring our driveway and patio pad for our new home we would get them to do some stairs and a sidewalk along the side of our house at the same time. The initial visit was very good and they gave us a quote that we thought was a little high but reasonable. When asking questions before we signed a deal they were very quick to answer and good to deal with but... Once they had our money in hand their whole attitude changed before the work even began. It was impossible to get a response from them on any questions, issues or warranty work. They have given us the distinct impression that once they have your money they don’t care about you anymore. After the job was completed the ground under the concrete settled out which was to be expected. To get them to come back in to back fill was almost impossible and their poor fix was to push some loose soil under the patio pad so that you couldn't see under it any more. Just to give you an idea the pad was about 12 feet square and the entire pad was floating in midair. The kicker is the left over clay (about 9 wheelbarrows full) was dumped just outside the gate of our back yard in the nature reserve. When I called to get them back out to clean it up they just said that it wasn’t them...
BUYERS BEWARE WITH THIS CONTRACTOR… POOR COMUNICATION AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP, WILL NOT OWN THEIR MISTAKES…

They never came back to finish the job. They expect you to pay everything before they do any work. I paid for the wall to have a coating applied. It was not done. They left a spacer material in between the driveway and sidewalk that now causes ice to jam up on the driveway in the winter. Also didn't leave access to the water main. I called them several times and was told they would get to it. But then another month goes by with nothing. Make sure you keep some money back so they will complete their work.

We were seriously screwed by our previous landscaping and concrete contractor, and I mean seriously. We also had serious water drainage issues in our yard. We met with Breckenridge at the Stampede's Home and Garden Show and explained our problem to them. They followed up with us a few days later and came to our home right away to asses the "damages". They were able to work around the mistakes of the previous contractors, work on the yard's grade and do the most beautiful and professional concrete job ever. They worked extremely fast and kept our yard clean. Managers came on site almost every day to insure the quality of the work. They even ended up below their initial estimate so they offered us to complete the landscaping of our front yard at no extra charge - and reumbursed us over $700 from our initial payment (most businesses would have just walk away with the extra money). Extremely recommended.

They had amazing communication all throughout the process from their estimator to their crew doing the work. They took care of and respected our personal property. The price was very competative with other quotes. I am in the construction industry and can tell when working with true professionals and Breckenridge was a perfect 10 all around.

Breckenridge brought us 8 dump truck loads of gravel in a record time with two trucks working on the project. The cost was just as quoted and was done as quick as we needed the gravel with no waiting period.
We will definitely be using Breckenridge Concrete again to finish up our project.
